WHAT'S NEXT FOR NOAH AND AMELIA? *MY OPINION*

Following on from Wednesday's episode (31st August) where viewers of the Yorkshire Dales soap saw Noah Dingle break things off with his girlfriend, Amelia Spencer following her father, Dan Spencer's words of advice at the end of Tuesday's episode (30th August). We all knew that Dan and Kerry Wyatt weren't ever going to accept Noah despite everything - but now I am waiting for the showdown.

With Noah being the one person since Charity Tate discovered her pregnancy back at the end of July that Amelia has had to support her.

Amelia has had to put up with Samson and his poor attitude to the whole situation. Samson needs to learn to respect the woman's decision as it mostly affects them.

As much as Lydia Dingle's behaviour has been full on its lovely to see the caring side, even if it is sometimes overbearing - she means well.

One thing, I saw this week was the way that Amelia appreciated Noah's words and that she had the confidence to open up despite feeling vulnerable and shy. It was thanks to Noah that she stayed.

We know that Noah didn't want to break up with Amelia, but with Dan's pressuring him in the background he had too. His face in the aftermath was a little down about it, and you could see a lot of hurt demonstrated.

Dan really needs to learn to step away and let his niece make her own choices and mistakes - surely her happiness is the most important in all of this!
Here's hoping the truth will out sooner rather than later.

What's next for these characters?

This is something that we don't actually know at the moment, however with BIG storylines coming throughout October, could Amelia's birth be a part of this even though nothing has been confirmed.

But personally, I am predicting a difficult and tough few weeks ahead of the birth of her baby especially given that Jane Hudson at a recent press event said: "Amelia is due soon, and whether or not she has the baby in the 50th celebrations I'm obviously not going to tell you. But Amelia does play a very big part in the storm and when she needs to be found, because she's stuck on her own, she does play a very big part..."

Personally, I am hoping Amelia and Noah reunite and so do many others on twitter and facebook with people saying that they can see the change in Noah which I have to admit, I agree with as it knows what he did was wrong. However, at the same time I reckon Samson will be the one with Amelia, but then could it be the revelation from Dan about what happened that causes it? But then it's Emmerdale so who knows anything can happen in that village.

All I know is that Daisy Campbell will absolute smash her scenes whatever happens.

You can watch Emmerdale on ITV Monday - Friday at 7.30pm, however, on Thursday was an hour long episode.

COMING UP ON EMMERDALE: AMELIA CHRISTENS ESTHER AS CHARITY AND AMY BRING THE DRAMA

EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
