EMMERDALE REVIEW - AMELIA AND NOAH GO OFFICIAL AS DAN PUSHED HIS DAUGHTER AWAY

It's been a while since I've done a review of Emmerdale episodes, but based it on two characters due to people loving them, and myself enjoying their scenes this week, I am back.

Sunday aired what should have been Friday 16th's episode that saw Noah Dingle offered an apprenticeship by Marcus Dean, that was fantastic and belief he needed, but what was good to see was the interaction between Noah and Amelia Spencer as an apology came from Noah, which you could see he 100% meant with us, viewers knowing that Noah only dumped Amelia cos of what her father, Dan said. The belief that Amelia has in Noah shows just how much she cares about him.

The week started with Amelia and Dan Spencer getting ready to move back into Dale View after Gabby Thomas allowed them to after what happened with her son, Thomas Tate, a few months back whilst Amelia was looking after him causing her to realise that she was in fact pregnant. Dan needs to remember that Amelia is a grown up!
One thing that really frustrated me was the way that Samson Dingle's treating both Noah and Amelia.

However, in the cafe, Noah finally revealed the truth to Amelia loved seeing Noah standing up for himself and for what he wants following Dan telling him to end things with her if he really loved her which Dan wasn't pleased about with Noah revealing the truth causing Amelia to move out, and in with Kerry Wyatt. One thing, I really appreciated during this scene was the fact that Amelia stood up for herself and what she wanted and not pleasing everyone else.

It was Wednesday's episode that saw Amelia and Noah meet up for the first time since the truth was revealed with Noah being honest with Amelia after she admitted she wished she knew the truth sooner. I get where Amelia's reaction came from during their chat as they agree to give things another go, the reassurance speaks volumes especially as Amelia is worried about Dan's reaction. Amelia has the weight of the world on her shoulders it appears.

As Noah then went on to present Amelia with her belated birthday present of a necklace was a simple scene that was beautifully thought about as they shared their first kiss. However, Amelia really didn't need to apologise. I understand that Dan is angry, but it's obvious that Amelia is a strong female who knows her own mind as she tells her father about them being together. But the vulnerability was also wonderful to see. But it was the moment that Amelia told Dan that she was moving in with Noah, you could see the hurt from Dan along with the realisation.

Thursday's hour long episode saw Dan continue to worry about his daughter, but it was even more obvious how much Noah truly cares for Amelia, but the constant reassurance was needed and much appreciated. With Noah continuing to protect her it was lovely to see Sarah praising Noah. The sweet gestures mean a lot.
With the loved up couple bumping into Dan outside the cafe, Noah reassured her that it was ok with a gentle touch which was a rather sweet gesture. However, it was on the bridge that Amelia and Dan spoke where you could see that a lot of bridges had been dealt between them as Dan opened up to his daughter about his worries leading to a heart-to-heart. I understand Dan's worried, but he needs to let Amelia make her own decisions and mistakes.

Later in The Woolpack, it was Kerry that told Dan about Amelia and Noah and her moving in leading to Kerry putting her plan into action to get Amelia home. The moment that Charity was full of praise for her son despite their long journey was fantastic to see as you could see how much belief she has in him, but it was when Charity opened up about her past that you could see her relating to the vulnerability Amelia must be feeling. Emma Atkins and Daisy Campbell definitely need to have more scenes together, I really hope there is many to come from these fantastic actresses.

As the week ended, viewers saw Amelia deciding to move back home following Charity's words which was all know were down to Kerry, who needs to stop interfering Amelia's life and allow her to make her own mistakes if there are any to be made! Charity only cares about Noah's happiness, and if that's with Amelia so be it - Dan and Kerry need to do the same, I feel like a broken record saying this.

This week's episodes of Emmerdale aired between Tuesday 20th - Friday 23rd September on ITV with episodes at 7.30pm, however, double bills aired on 20th & 22nd September.
