SINGLE REVIEW - CHLOE JONES - NEW MEXICO

Tomorrow (Friday 8th October) will see British Country Artist, Chloe Jones who is in fact from Manchester is releasing her latest single, New Mexico.

New Mexico starts with a soft guitar instrumental which I have to admit sets the tone of the song fantastically.
The first verse has a real old school feel with Chloe's softer tone making it a wonderful blend. The crisp vocal from Chloe that then develops adds a wonderful layer. The brilliant story writing takes you on a journey that makes for brilliant listening.
The chorus brings a beautiful sentimental feel that connects the first verse to the chorus and the chorus to the second verse, shows what an amazing singer-songwriter, Chloe is.
The second verse of New Mexico continues with the feeling of getting you into another world thanks to the many moments of vulnerability that comes through in certain aspects of the song. WOW, how I caught myself getting emotional.
The final verse and chorus feature Chloe's soft vocal at the forefront which develops into something rather special that sees another side comestibles through. The instrumental softening is wonderful bringing the song to a natural close.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
