Welcome sees the album opened with an instrumental showcasing the rock side of this album from Cassadee. The electric instrumental are amazing giving us a fantastic welcome to Thrive.

Same Old Brand New Me starts with an upbeat kind of instrumental. The first verse sees Cassadee's rockier punk feel vocal range at the forefront which sees Cassadee going back to her roots in music. There is so much in the first verse that I caught myself relating with and bringing memories of my own childhood back with - I love songs that have the ability to do this. The chorus features many blink 182 feels that took me back to my childhood and hearing them on the radio. The fact that Cassadee loves that style of music shows within her songs. The gratefulness from Cassadee within the lyrics is something I appreciate. The second verse of Same Old Brand New Me continues with an emotional feel with the relatable lyrics there is something so magical about the journey the song takes you on. I loved growing up with this kind of music on the radio. The final verse sees Cassadee crisp vocal appear with the classic rockier vibes followed by her soft vocal before the final chorus sees rock Cassadee appear once again.

Tomorrow Night has a rockier feel with the electric guitar instrumental that I have to say, I am rather enjoying thanks to the quirkiness of the song. The first verse sees Cassadee's crisp tone at the forefront allowing for the listeners to get a real feel for the story within the lyrics that I caught myself listening too really carefully. The chorus many softer fun feel with the excitement that you are feeling about the next night the plans you may have and you just want to enjoy instead of waiting. I love the fun evening vibes the song gives off. The next verse of Tomorrow Night continues with this soft vocal allowing for the obsessive side to be heard in a way that is very unique to the style of the song allowing the listeners to have fun with the lyrics as they are listening. The instrumental in the middle of the song is wonderfully timed ahead of the bridge that sees the songs key lyrics being repeated in a softer vocal tone. The final chorus is in a little higher key ending the song perfectly. I love the pop-punk feel with Tomorrow Night.

What The Stars See has an upbeat guitar, and electric guitar by Lindsay Ell no doubt instrumental that sets the tone of the song wonderfully with this very Cassadee style vibe which I adore hearing. The way that Cassadee blends in Rock with Country is wonderful and has me hooked from the very first moment. The first verse sees Cassadee's crisp vocal at the forefront allowing the lyrics of the song to shine through right from the start that happens to allow the listeners their own take on the story within the song which for me as a listener is something I just adore hearing from an artist. You can hear so much passion within every single word that Cassadee is singing. The chorus of What The Stars See features many catchy, and upbeat lyrics that have this meaningful, and honest insight that I can't help but catch myself listening to very careful to every single word. There is something so special about What The Stars See that many people will be loving, also I have a feeling many people will be getting a little emotional throughout. The second verse of What The Stars See continues with Karen Fairchild's softer vocal being allowed to shine through with this softer side that allows for the song to take on a different dynamic that works perfectly. The chorus blends every single part of What The Stars See wonderfully which I caught myself looking to the lyrics even more intensely as the song continues as I think about my loved one. As the song develops the more Cassadee, Karen and Lindsay's harmonies are demonstrated incredibly. The electric guitar from Lindsay Ell is stunning allowing for a wonderful instrumental break up ahead of the final verse which sees all 3 female vocals harmonise in a fantastic way! What The Stars See ending with the chorus is just perfect allowing the song to go full circle.

Say It First has a different kind of feel to the song thanks to the pop-rock instrumental guitar, drum instrumental which I love it in a way.  The first verse sees Cassadee's softer vocal open with lyrics of power and honesty that listeners will be able to relate too. I really enjoy how Cassadee has gone back to her orginial roots bringing it country - what a wonderful blend. The chorus continues with the tense vibe that had me feeling vulnerable at the times which is something I enjoy hearing within a song. The second verse of Say It First continues the moment of truth that can get the listeners thinking even more outside of the box thanks to the lyrics which these wonderful empowering moments which had me smiling and listening very carefully. The more the verses continue the more I feel that this song is perfect! The rockier vocal from Cassadee are everything ahead of the final verse before the final verse sees Cassadee soft vocal returning. The final chorus sees Cassadee's higher, empowering vocals returning - I am all for this new direction of Cassadee.

Break Too starts with a soft instrumental that sees the first verse show Cassadee's soft vocal with many heartfelt and vulnerable moments. The chorus features many upbeat and painful lyrics whilst also showing some personal experience from the writing along with a lot of honesty. The second verse of Break Too continues with that feeling when you should be moving on but you can't and it gets you thinking from a different perspective. The chorus links to every single part of the song wonderfully. I have to say the instrumental break up with the electric guitar is timed in a way that is rather beautiful. The shift vocal coming back from Cassadee is wonderful, however it's not long until Cassadee brings her higher vocal tone back for the final chorus.

Thrive has a punk rock instrumental with the first verses lyrics giving this feelings of hurt with many heartfelt lyrics which is shown even more within the chorus. The message in Thrive is all about surviving through a certain situation. The second verse of Thrive continues with a softer vocal tone that left me with a lot of questions but ones that got me thinking and ones I think will get the listeners thinking too. This verse shows what an amazing songwriter Cassadee is! Thrive is a song about thriving and one I adore the lyrics off thanks to the journey of the song.

Mind Your Own is a duet with Stephan Jenkins. Mind Your Own has a sassy upbeat feel that sees a side of Cassadee that I love and caught myself relating with at times within the first verse. The chorus continues with its sassy message of if you love your own life you wouldn't interfere in other peoples lives - there is something about the honesty in the lyrics I love a lot. Be yourself! The second verse of Mind Your Own continues with Stephan's vocals at the forefront adding another side of perspective to the songs meaning that women aren't always aware of. The green day feels for me are everything! The way that Cassadee and Stephan's voices work together are great. All three verses link wonderfully to the chorus seeing the songs instrumental break down being perfectly timed with the electric guitar. In the final verse and chorus Cassadee's softer vocal return which I have nothing but praise for.

Some People has a guitar instrumental setting the song up wonderfully. The first verse sees Cassadee's soft vocal range at the forefront allowing for her heartfelt lyrics to shine through with this purity within the lyrics and giving the listeners a really understanding about what the song is about. I love the funky sassy feel. The chorus features some of the most incredibly relatable lyrics that I caught myself being able to relate with having been in this situation with friends recently. The fact that Cassadee is writing from the heart making for incredibly beautiful listening especially going into the second verse thanks to the gorgeous heart on your sleeve lyrics. Many people will be able to bring this song into their lives and will be very grateful like I am! The instrumental is a wonderful break up ahead of the final verse bringing the song together wonderfully going into the final chorus bringing the song to a natural end!

Just A Girl starts with a slower guitar instrumental allowing for a crisp soft vocal from Cassadee to open the first verse. The first verse sees Cassadee being an emotional message within a song to life with a few little upbeat moments giving us listeners time to get a real feel for the song is just wonderful. The chorus has some catchy lyrics that I caught myself wanting to sing thanks to the upbeat instrumental - the honesty within the lyrics is wonderful with the sassy side of ending the relationship being bought to life. The second verse of Just A Girl continues another sassy moment that sees Cassadee's rock punk vibes coming through which I have to admit I adored hearing. The chorus links beautifully into the chorus from every single verse. The final verse sees Cassadee's softer sassy vocal accompanied by her punk tone going into the final chorus giving me Avril Lavinge vibes.

Remedy has a softer classic guitar instrumental with compliments Cassadee's soft vocal within the first verse. The first verse sees a vulnerability that I haven't witnessed in a while that bought a tear to my eye as I was listening very closely to the lyrics. The chorus sees Cassadee's higher vocal going through in a way that I wasn't expecting from the opening verse. I adore the vulnerable lyrics that show a sense of who Cassadee is as an artist and what she has got through in her life. Remedy has a beautiful message. The second verse of Remedy sees the song taking a different turn of events which in turn sees another side of the wonderful song-writing she is. The chorus is fantastic with the honesty you hear. The final verse seeing a softer side from Cassadee displayed that makes for wonderful listening. The final chorus brings the song to the most naturally beautiful end.

Sis sees an electric guitar instrumental open the song giving this album, a different kind of sound from Cassadee. The first verse sees Cassadee's rockier vocal at the forefront there is an old school feel to Sis that leaves you wanting more. The lyrics are ones that are catchy going to the chorus giving another side of who she is as an artist which is wonderful. I love the journey that the song takes you on, whilst showcasing many different vocal tones. The second verse of Sis continues with a more rockier feel from the lyrics being ones that will just roll of your tongue especially the chorus. The meaning of the song being about friendship and family with having someone's back that you respect. The final verse of Sis sees the sassy side of Cassadee displayed with the catchy lyrics. The chorus is the part of the song that links Sis together in the most beautifully fantastic way.

No Now starts with a soft instrumental with an acoustic vocal showcasing what a wonderful singer-songwriter she is. The first verse allows for the lyrics to shine through in the most beautiful way  whilst remaining true to see Cassadee is as a person, and artist. The chorus features some amazing lyrics that I caught myself listening to extremely closely allowing for this wonderful message to come across. The second verse of No Now continues with a more vulnerable feel that bought a few tears to my eyes. I have nothing but praise for the chorus' lyrics throughout this song - the many different tones make for amazing listening. The final verse sees a softer tone being shown before the higher vocal returns to end the song with the chorus once again - that is a wonderful way to end this amazing album.
