SINGLE REVIEW - DANIELLE BRADBERY - STOP DRAGGIN' YOUR BOOTS

Today (Friday 30th July) will see US singer-songwriter,  Danielle Bradbery  release her brand new single, Stop Draggin' Your Boots. Stop Draggin' Your Boots was written by Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey and Gordie Sampson. Photo Credit: Big Machine Records Stop Draggin' Your Boots  starts with a uptempo instrumental giving off some real country feels which I am loving as it brings the song together fantastically throughout. The first verse sees Danielle's crisp vocal at the forefront with catchy lyrics with that feeling off seeing someone on a night out with the feelings of wondering where to go next. The chorus of Stop Draggin' Your Boots features some incredibly beautiful catchy lyrics that I couldn't help but catch myself singing along with. SINGLE REVIEW - HALLE KEARNS - NOTHING LEFT

This Friday (30th July) will see US country pop singer-songwriter,  Halle Kearns  release her brand new single, Nothing Left. Nothing Left  has a beautiful sounding piano instrumental which supports the song incredibly throughout adding many wonderful layers to the song. The first verse sees Halle's vulnerability shining through with her soft crisp vocal at the forefront allowing for the lyrics to shine through beautifully thanks to the vulnerability which Halle displays in an emotional raw way giving me goosebumps. The chorus features many emotional lyrics that gets the listeners thinking and connecting in a way that allows the listeners to relate it to their own lives. The vocal tones from Halle continue to to have this vulnerability that sees many powerful lyrics shine through. SINGLE REVIEW - JASON ALDEAN & CARRIE UNDERWOOD - IF I DIDN'T LOVE YOU

Yesterday (Friday 23rd July) saw Carrie Underwood and  Jason Aldean release their duet of If I Didn't Love You which I have to say as been added to my summer playlist. If I Didn't Love You  starts with a piano instrumental which gets the song going beautifully and supports the song throughout. The first verse sees Jason's crisp vocal at the forefront allowing for the song to take you on a journey thanks to the songs beautiful lyrics even though it's based on a relationship ending.  The chorus of If I Didn't Love You   features some of the most beautifully heartfelt lyrics that I couldn't heart but get a little emotional over thanks to Carrie and Jason's vocals blending so incredibly well throughout allowing the song to go on a journey. The second verse continues with Carrie giving a rather emotional vocal delivery thanks to her softer vocal giving the lyrics the chance to take the listeners on a journey. The first verse sees Lisa's soft vocal range at the forefront throughout allowing for many different levels to be added to her stunning vocal. Within this verse listeners will see a mix of dreaming and reality which is the perfect mix as it allows for beautiful song writing and storytelling with this alone giving me goosebumps. Photo Credit: Mallory Holcomb Welcome To The Heartache  sees a drum instrumental opening the EP up wonderfully with an emotional feel right from the start which saw Emily's softer vocals complimenting so well alongside her pure honesty heartfelt lyrics in the first verse sees another side that for me as a listeners, I really enjoy listening too - I love vulnerability from the artist as it shows so much about them, and their passion. The chorus features many catchy lyrics with the honesty continuing as the opening up following a relationship ending and that's ok with the emotions developing/ being shown. The first verse sees Colleen's softer vocal opening up with this raw emotion thanks to the brilliantly thought about lyrics. I like how Colleen has write the song based on a personal experience which is something that makes the song even more special, and relatable for the listeners. Colleen's vocal tone changes are wonderfully timed. The chorus has many catchy lyrics that allow the listeners to create their own story to go alongside the song. The emotions that you hear from Colleen's vocal is something that is even more special giving the song this diverse dynamic. Photo Credit: graceelizphoto on instagram Used To This  has a guitar instrumental that opens the song in the most beautiful way allowing for song to have meaning before Hannah's vocals and lyrics have even come in instantly giving me a 'Kelsea Ballerini' moment. The first verse sees Hannah's soft vocal at the forefront allowing for the listeners to get a real feel for the song straight away that had me wanting more from the start. There is something about the way Hannah is singing that tells you that she has suffered heartache, as she is wearing her heart on her sleeve which allows for many emotions to be displayed throughout the lyrics. The chorus has a female empowerment about it which had me gripped thanks to the upbeat and fun vibe that left me wanting to sing along despite having no idea of the lyrics aha.
