EMMERDALE EPISODE REVIEW - CHARITY FLASHBACK EPISODE

Welcome to a very different style blog with tonight's being my opinion on tonight's Charity Dingle's Flash Back Episode . Tonight's episode is written by one of my favourite writers in Maxine Alderton. So I am expecting the most wonderful episode to which I can admit, I was. So thank you, Maxine. When I first watched the spoiler Emmerdale released on Friday evening ahead of next week's I was feeling emotional because we are seeing this very different and more emotional side of Charity Dingle. The vulnerable of Charity is something I am not used to seeing when it comes to Charity but how fabulous is Emma Atkins with the emotional scenes! Before the episode, I was feeling very nervous. Opening the rather special flashback episode was Charity standing outside the pub of The Woolpack with Noah and Moses. What a beautiful family scene. I liked that Vanessa was keeping her eye on Charity from the window but I did adore the words Vanessa said to Charity. Charity ...

DANIELLE BRADBERY IS PRAISE-WORTHY IN NEW VIDEO FOR WORTH IT

Danielle Bradbery  builds upon an emotional story with her current single, Worth It with an artful music video premiered on People.com. The video for the empowering anthem is also now available on Vevo as well as Spotify's Wild Country playlist. The compelling video directed by Shaun Silva, and filmed at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville opened with Danielle navigating an empty theater speaking to the journey of the song and the impact of its powerful lyrics, "'Cause I'm worth it/ You're crazy, baby, if you think that I don't know it/ I ain't afraid to walk away/ If you can't see it, believe it/ And give me the love I'm deserving/ 'Cause I know I'm worth it." It culminates as she envisions herself performing on the empty stage in a moment inspired by a similarly iconic scene in the popular film The Greatest Showman. “This song was one of my favorite tracks on the album from the start, but it’s really taken on a life of it...

FAVOURITE EMMERDALE CHARACTERS OVER THE YEARS

I've wanted to do this post for so long but never thought I would publish but tonight I am FINALLY getting around to it. I've watched Emmerdale since 2000 when one evening caught my Grandma had it on when I was around hers and ever since I have enjoyed watching it every night. The amount of favourite characters I have had over the years has been fabulous but my TOP 9 haven't changed since last year - which surprises me a lot. Kelly Windsor was played by Adele Silva. Kelly Windsor for me was one of the first characters I ever loved watching and there was something about Adele Silva for me that was so inspiring. With Kelly returning on and off, a few times her stint between 2005 - 2007 was when she was making Dawn Ward and Zoe Tate's lives hell to protect her brother, Scott. during this stint, Kelly also seduced Jimmy King which leads nicely to my favourite stint back when Kelly returned in November 2010 this return for me was wonderful because we saw...

SINGLE REVIEW - APRIL KRY - PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

Next Monday (30th April) will see  April Kry release her new single, Perfectly Imperfect which I was kindly given the opportunity to review. Perfectly Imperfect is perfectly perfect! Perfectly Imperfect starts with a darker sounding tune with just a guitar to accompany which is rather special. April vocals are rather dark sounding to start but it's stunning because it allows April to get across the message in which she wants too! The chorus is rather special along with it being super catchy which April is brutally honest throughout and I adore this about April's song-writing. Perfectly Imperfect is a song in which I believe that everyone could/ can relate to when it comes to accepting ourselves for who we are and where we have come from/ where we are going! Perfectly Imperfect lets people know that what they are feeling is human and that's its OK to feel like this! April's softer and joyful vo...

ALBUM REVIEW - SOUTHERN HALO - JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIES

Tomorrow (Friday 27th April) will see US singer-songwriting Trio, Southern Halo release their debut album, Just Like In The Movies and I was very kindly recently sent Just Like In The Movies to review. Just Like In The Movies features 14 songs. You can read my interview with the girls here . Southern Halo is such a stunningly beautiful song from the girls with a beautiful bass backing. Southern Halo allows their harmonies to shine throughout. The perfect song to open their debut album up with. Natalia's solo vocals are beautiful alongside Hannah and Christina duo vocals are wonderful. I love how Christina, Hannah and Natalia's vocals complement each other so well - there is something rather special about these girls. The lyrics within the chorus are so fun and based on growing up. I love the Natalia's guitar playing, Hannah's bass playing and Christina's drumming was magical and bought the song to life. My Girls & Me opens up with funky bass playing...

EP REVIEW - EMILY FAYE - HERE I AM

British singer-songwriter,  Emily Faye is set to release her debut EP, Here I Am which will be released on Friday 27th April. Here I Am features 4 tracks, and Emily very kindly sent us the EP to review. Open Road starts with a guitar solo that starts the song off beautifully with such a road trip vibe to it. Emily's tone is so beautiful straight from the start with very quirky parts in the first verse too. The chorus has such a happy sound with gorgeous and meaningful lyrics! Within the second verse you get a fun and happy vibe - meanwhile I love that the video is showing us that she is living her dream and loving it such a wonderful concept for the video, Emily. The third and final verse has a dance and happy type of vibe. Giving In is a slower sounding song with the start being wonderfully slow and it suits the style of the song and with Emily's softer sounding vocals too it highlight's Emily's vocals beautifully. The lyrics in Giving In...

ABOUT ONCE UPON A SMILE

This is a very different kind of blog post to normal but it’s one I have wanted to share for so long (but I never felt I could) about a charity that is very close to my heart Once Upon A Smile and even more so after last night’s Grand Ball and what a success it was. If you know me personally you will know how passionate I am about helping Once Upon A Smile whether it’s through work or even just donating money when I can. So in this blog I am going to tell you about the incredible work they do and the co-founders are the most humble people you can meet (and that’s just Danny as I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Dan yet!) Once Upon A Smile also have a mascot called Sidley which the children love. What is Once Upon A Smile? Once Upon A Smile is a bereavement charity which aims to provide support for families in their time of need. Once Upon A Smile   was set up in 2011 by Danny Miller (Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle) and his friend Daniel Jillings after the passing ...

ALBUM REVIEW - THE SHIRES - ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE

I am very excited to have been given this wonderful opportunity to review from British singer-songwriters,  The Shires new album, Accidentally On Purpose which is out for release this Friday (20th April). Accidently On Purpose is made up of 12 tracks. The Hard Way is a brilliant song to start the album with especially with the quirkiness the song gives off from the start. Ben starting the song off with his crisp vocals and Crissie moments later giving with her softer vocals there is something so magical about their vocals when they come together like they do in the chorus. The Hard Way is a very relatable song especially as everyone had some point in their life as been apart of what they are singing about. My favourite part of The Hard Way is the chorus because of it's very catchy lyrics and you feel yourself singing along. Echo is very much a different sounding song from what I was expecting yet it is amazing. I love how much thought has gone into the lyrics and w...

I loved that Tim joined in on the chorus. The second song was called Up My Street which had a fabulous energy along with great harmonies. Tim and Esther song together with beautiful vocals.
