During next week's episodes, Sarah Sugden will become suspicious when newcomer, Serena Sugden arriving in the village looking for her cousin, Robert Sugden, when she mentions she knows about John Sugden. Despite this, Sarah discovers that Serena has been living out of her car, offering her a place to stay for the night. There is definitely a lot o secrets to come following the little information we currently know about the character.
Talking about her excitement on joining the show, Casey shared “I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining such an iconic show and playing a Sugden! Serena is a fantastic character with so much going on beneath the surface. I can't wait for the audience to see the drama unfold.”

Since viewers were made aware of Kev Townsend's return in April, next week will see a thrilled Claudette Anderson when Kev returns, offering him a place to stay. Kev reveals to Charles Anderson and Claudette that he has a son, Lewis Barton who wants nothing to do with him.
Saddened when Kev talks about running away, Claudette strongly boosts him up insisting he is a good man who deserves his family, and that he should continue to pursue a relationship with Lewis.
Whilst, Robert is made up when Kev suggests getting the ball rolling on their divorce - music to many Robron fans ears.
Shortly after, tensions rise in the cafe as Nicola King catches Kev filling up the bucket to clean his trailer in the cafe toilets. Nicola is absolutely determined to get Kev out of the village. A new feud is definitely on its way between these characters, I can feel.
Talking about Kev's return earlier this year, Chris Coghill said “I’m really pleased to be returning to Emmerdale, I had a brilliant time last year. Kev is a complex character that I love playing. He has psychopathic tendencies, but also an energy and vulnerability that I think makes him pretty unique. I'm properly looking forward to getting back at it.”
Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday (subject to change during the football) on ITV1, and YouTube, and ITVX from 7am.
