COMING UP ON CORRIE OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD: CARLA AND LISA FACE A TOUGH FEW WEEKS

Over recent weeks, Carla Connor and Lisa Swain after been through a lot both individually and together but this Christmas things are set to become more official in-between all the Betsy Swain drama.

In the run up to Christmas, Lisa Swain confronts her daughter, Betsy Swain after finding a picture of Mason Radcliffe taken in Betsy's room on social media.

Amongst the drama, Carla Connor announces to the factory staff about her and Lisa are now an item which sees Betsy make a sarcastic remark leaving Lisa mortified! Let's be honest here Betsy is struggling with Becky's death but doesn't seem willing to be open and honest about her feelings.
Carla invites Betsy to join her and Lisa at the Bistro for dinner and suggests they all start afresh, but when Betsy shows up with Mason.... How will Lisa react?

In the run up to the New Year, its all kicks off as Betsy and Lisa move in with Carla following a flooded flat, Carla sees some files in Lisa's belongings relating to Becky's death leaves Carla feeling awkward. Later, Lisa surprises Carla with a romantic lunch, but the mood is broken when she receives an urgent call. An injured Lisa assures Carla that she is fine and ready for a drink, however, with the countdown to midnight Carla admits to Lisa that she loves her, but does Lisa feel the same? This is something, I hope they both admit, the sooner the better.

Roy Cropper is concerned about Carla when she starts hearing things and looking confused with Roy telling her to go home and rest he later decides to let himself into her flat and finding her barely conscious where she calls for an ambulance. Whilst, Lisa is unaware of what's happening to Carla, she decides to follows Matty and confront him demanding to know where he was on the night Becky was killed. Meanwhile, Mason cooks Betsy a meal who arrives at Number 4 to see a table set with candles.
Following Betsy spending the afternoon with Mason who she orders him to leave after reading a message, Lisa arrives home and demands to know what is coming on, however, as Lisa catches up Mason showing him photos that reveal that it was in fact his brothers were driving the car that mowed down Becky leaving Mason genuinely shocked.

Elsewhere, the doctors tell a shocked Carla that the sepsis has damaged her kidney and may need another transplant as Ryan Connor returns home to find Carla lied about her whereabouts and Lisa visits Carla saying that she doesn't appreciate being lied to! Clearly hurt, Lisa leaves Carla to it.

These scenes will air between Monday 23rd December - Friday 3rd January on ITV with episodes available from ITVX. However, times will vary over the festive period.

CORONATION STREET REVIEW LAUREN BOLTON & MAX TURNER'S FLASHBACK EPISODE ALONGSIDE PADDY BEVER QUOTES

During tonight's episode (13th November) of Coronation Street viewers were treated to a series of flashbacks this time in the frame are Lauren Bolton and Max Turner who only recently got back together are the ones I have been most excited to see having said to friends for weeks they definitely have to be involved somehow if they were suspects thinking back to everything she's been through.  However, Monday's episode (11th November) Lauren's body language dramatically change in my opinion, and Max's side eye following Ed Bailey buying him a drink, but it was Sabrina Adetiba's sudden reappearance that left me with even more questions. NEXT WEEK ON CORONATION STREET: LAUREN STRUGGLES AFTER RECENT EVENTS

Following a tough few months for Lauren Bolton since her return back in July, it's no wonder next week she is set to struggle once again when it comes to her son, Frankie who was saw during last night's episode (18th November) is out of hospital with them both in a foster placement.
