Over the past week  of scenes on Coronation Street, viewers have witnessed Carla Connor and DS Swain go through a lot emotionally, but I have to say there is something about this soap pairing that I am really enjoying as they just work together as this week has shown even through they have played with many viewers emotions. Last Friday's episode (22nd November) saw Carla and DS Lisa Swain kiss and sleep together which was interrupted by Betsy Swain drama after Lisa missed a call which she did twice in tonight's episode (29th November). However, Monday's episode (25th November) saw the Carla and Lisa struggle with their emotions as DS Swain said that she didn't feel ready for a relationship, but moments later Carla was seen laying injured on the Underworld factory floor where Lisa quickly rushed to her side following Betsy telling her the news. Following a tough few months for Lauren Bolton since her return back in July, it's no wonder next week she is set to struggle once again when it comes to her son, Frankie who was saw during last night's episode (18th November) is out of hospital with them both in a foster placement. During tonight's episode (15th November), Coronation Street viewers were treated to an exciting series of flashbacks from the night that Joel Deering was murdered, with the killer being revealed at the end. Following Wednesday's cliff-hanger (13th November) of Max Turner in his cell saying 'what have you done?' with tonight's episode beginning with a shot of Max being interviewed with close up of the suspect characters and their motives which were cleverly delivered to us viewers - the way Max was wanting to protect Lauren Bolton was obvious, however the fact that Lauren thought Max was going to do something said a lot. I liked how Coronation Street decided to deliver each character's part of the story in between PC Kit Green's police interview with each of the suspects which is very cleverly achieved as it left us viewers thinking that it could have been any of them right up until the moment it was revealed. During tonight's episode (13th November) of Coronation Street viewers were treated to a series of flashbacks this time in the frame are Lauren Bolton and Max Turner who only recently got back together are the ones I have been most excited to see having said to friends for weeks they definitely have to be involved somehow if they were suspects thinking back to everything she's been through.  However, Monday's episode (11th November) Lauren's body language dramatically change in my opinion, and Max's side eye following Ed Bailey buying him a drink, but it was Sabrina Adetiba's sudden reappearance that left me with even more questions. The opening sequence was brilliant with the level of added dialogue as they recapped at the suspects, but Carla Connor's look towards Lauren Bolton during the flashback which entered to real time was interestingly delivered camera angles. With Betsy Swain having recently struggled with her mum, DS Lisa Swain's job following her involvement in certain police cases it's not wonder that she is struggling with everything which has seen her open up to Carla Connor in recent weeks which has seen Carla and Lisa spend a lot more together. During next week's visits to Coronation Street viewers will see Joel Deering's Murder Investigation heat up as the final suspects are revealed with the killer being unmasked during Friday 15th November's hour long episode. As the cobbles based show reveals its new promo featuring a series of thrilling flashbacks with the most explosive one yet as viewers will see a Joel fearing for his life on the railway tracks.  This is going to deliver some wonderful viewing, I thought we would get flashbacks but not quite like this. As an extra treat following the action packed episode on Friday 15th, ITVX will also be hosting a live special at 9pm featuring exclusive live interviews with the cast and reaction to the reveal of Joel's killer. Earlier this morning (6th November), the official Children In Need single for 2024 was revealed in the form of Girls Aloud 's I'll Stand By You first released in 2004, however, 20 years later it's being released again but this time with the late Sarah Harding on lead vocals in a new version - I remember hearing this version as part of their tour this June and being in tears when I heard it and this morning was no different.
