DANNY MAC SET TO RETURN TO HOLLYOAKS AFTER A DECADE

Next year, a blast from the past in Danny Mac is returning as Mark Savage known to viewers as Dodger after 10 years something I am very excited about who didn't love Dodger all these years ago?

With Danny Mac already back filming alongside Anna Passey who plays his on-screen sister, Sienna, Nikki Sanderson who plays Maxine Minniver, and Jeremy Sheffield who plays Jeremy Blake.

Once called a hero back in January, 2015 for protecting his family, but with the Blake family full of twists and turns is no surprise that when Dodger returns he will arrive with an agenda, but what is he up too?

Talking about reprising his iconic Hollyoaks role, Danny Mac said: “After a decade away, I’m thrilled to be returning and reuniting with my incredible co-stars, old friends and a character very close to my heart. Dodger escaped, leaving a great deal behind. I’ve always wondered whether he could return and who he might have become in the 10 years since he ran away. Now that he’s back, there’s a lot to uncover, but one way or another, we will finally find out.”

Since leaving Hollyoaks, Danny has gone on to star in numerous TV dramas as well as many theatre productions.

Hollyoaks airs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with episodes available at 7am on Channel 4 streaming and can be watched on E4 at 7pm with same day episodes.

Since Isabelle Smith  arrived on our screens back in January, Hollyoaks viewers have seen a hard-hitting storyline for her character, Frankie Osborne who since  February has had tough relationships with Osborne family especially Nancy and Jack, and looking back now you can see the cries for help with her moods, attitude, and vulnerability that have changed across the past 6 months. Frankie's used dance as her escape seeing her audition for dance school. With Darren having been the one wanting to protect Frankie with everything that has arose. One of my favourite moments was Frankie learning sign language so she could communicate with Oscar allowing people to see the caring side to the character. The first appearance of Frankie Osborne came in Wednesday's episode (4th September) where her dance place got deferred leaving her devastated as Darren continued to support Frankie seeing her become emotional about her return to school it was clear how much Darren has Frankie's best

NEXT WEEK ON CORONATION STREET: DEE-DEE MEETS A SOCIAL WORKER AS LAUREN ADMITS HER TRUE FEELINGS

During next week's visit to cobbles of Coronation Street, viewers will see Lauren Bolton give Dee-Dee Bailey some flowers as a thank you for offering her and her son, Frankie a home.  The way these two ladies have supported one another recently has been wonderful to see as Cait Fitton and Channique Sterling-Brown are both brilliant actresses. NEXT WEEK ON HOLLYOAKS: FRANKIE CONFRONTS SUZANNE AS A STUNT ROCKS THE VILLAGE

With Hollyoaks entering the first week of their brand-new 3 episodes a week next week in typical Hollyoaks style a stunt is involved. Who doesn't love a Hollyoaks stunt? Next week will see Grandfather and Granddaughter, Jack and Frankie Osborne run into Suzanne Ashworth and JJ Osborne outside The Dog patio. With the support of Sally St Claire and Jack, Frankie confront Suzanne about her not believing her as she goes into detail about what she experienced.  This can't be an easy conversation to have, but thankful she has people she trusts around her.  Jack later adds the pressure and challenges Suzanne about what she knew.  I have a feeling that these scenes could lead to some emotional moments.
