CORONATION STREET SHOCK SUSPECT IN JOEL DEERING CASE

During tonight's visit (28th October) to Coronation Street, viewers to the soap will see a new suspect come to light in the Joel Deering case.

With the police struggling to crack the case, another piece of evidence is revealed during a dramatic flash that puts DS Lisa Swain in the spotlight! Why am I thinking there is so much more to the case that we have already seen.

Us viewers to the Weatherfield soap all know that DC Kit Green has been heading up the investigation, but are also aware that DS Swain has refused to step away.

However, tonight viewers will see her examining some intense bruising on her body, before watching a flashback which shows her chasing someone through the precinct on the night of Joel's death - could this is be why Lisa is more invested in the case? 

The question remains is Lisa trying to cover her own tracks or was someone else responsible?

Coronation Street continues tonight (Monday 28th October) on ITV1 at 8pm with the episode available to watch now on ITVX.

Since Isabelle Smith  arrived on our screens back in January, Hollyoaks viewers have seen a hard-hitting storyline for her character, Frankie Osborne who since  February has had tough relationships with Osborne family especially Nancy and Jack, and looking back now you can see the cries for help with her moods, attitude, and vulnerability that have changed across the past 6 months. Frankie's used dance as her escape seeing her audition for dance school. With Darren having been the one wanting to protect Frankie with everything that has arose. One of my favourite moments was Frankie learning sign language so she could communicate with Oscar allowing people to see the caring side to the character. NEXT WEEK ON CORONATION STREET: DEE-DEE MEETS A SOCIAL WORKER AS LAUREN ADMITS HER TRUE FEELINGS

During next week's visit to cobbles of Coronation Street, viewers will see Lauren Bolton give Dee-Dee Bailey some flowers as a thank you for offering her and her son, Frankie a home.  The way these two ladies have supported one another recently has been wonderful to see as Cait Fitton and Channique Sterling-Brown are both brilliant actresses. With Hollyoaks entering the first week of their brand-new 3 episodes a week next week in typical Hollyoaks style a stunt is involved. Who doesn't love a Hollyoaks stunt? Next week will see Grandfather and Granddaughter, Jack and Frankie Osborne run into Suzanne Ashworth and JJ Osborne outside The Dog patio. With the support of Sally St Claire and Jack, Frankie confront Suzanne about her not believing her as she goes into detail about what she experienced.  This can't be an easy conversation to have, but thankful she has people she trusts around her.  Jack later adds the pressure and challenges Suzanne about what she knew.  I have a feeling that these scenes could lead to some emotional moments.
