SINGLE REVIEW - COLLEEN MCKEE - LOVE LIMBO

This Friday (5th May) will see Nashville Recording Artist, Colleen McKee release her second single of 2023, Love Limbo.
Colleen describes herself as a Country-Pop singer-songwriter.


Love Limbo begins with a drum, piano instrumental that supports Colleen's upbeat lyrics with a pop-country fell that is perfect for the Summer road trips. There is something so fantastic about the storytelling throughout.
The chorus is extremely catchy and about the love you have that is hard to move on from that is so powerful.
As Love Limbo continues the story has a few twists and turns that make it true to real life. Colleen's soft vocals are fabulous.
The bridge shared the songs key lyrics beautifully going to the instrumental break up perfectly timed.
Colleen's soft crisp vocals in the final verse are fantastic going into the chorus beautifully bringing the song to a fantastic end.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
