This Friday (21st April) will see singer-songwriter, Katy Hurt release her brand new single, What Have You Got To Lose.

What Have You Got To Lose has an electric guitar instrumental that supports Katy's crisp vocal tone brilliantly allowing for the storytelling to shine through.

The chorus is super catchy with many vulnerable things that I have to admit not me thinking a lot. As someone who is currently going through a lot as I try to change career after 10 years hearing a song like this is brilliant and inspiring as it's helping me stay motivated even on those tough days.

What Have You Got To Lose continues with even more empowering lyrics that honestly bought a tear to my eye especially when you feel like everything you are doing isn't working out the way you wanted, but you are still determined to chase your dreams!

The purity in Katy's vocal tone is gorgeous and the instrumental solo is fantastic as of the softer tone in the bridge.

The final verse ends What Have You Got To Lose perfectly adding another layer of pure brilliance.
Is there anything Katy can't do? Another simply amazing track.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
