SINGLE REVIEW - IZZY STEELE - OUT FOR BREAKFAST

Today (Friday 14th April) singer-songwriter, Isobel Steele aka Izzy Steele released her brand new single, Out For Breakfast.

Out For Breakfast sees the first verse showcase Izzy's crisp vocal tone which is wonderfully shown allowing for honesty and heartfelt lyrics to shine through.
One thing I love a lot about Out For Breakfast is the chorus as it showcases Izzy's brilliant storytelling within her beautiful songwriting that mixed with her beautifully crisp vocal tone are perfectly suited.
The second verse continues with a few more heartfelt moments as you can see a turn in the making the storytelling shown through thanks to it being a little stronger. Catching myself listening rather closely to the lyrics were special as they are relatable.
The instrumental break down is fantastic adding a layer that I never thought was needed but works out perfectly. The use of questions is great. As the song continues the more it makes me want to go out for breakfast.
The bridge has an emotional feel that is soon bought back to its upbeat style ending the song wonderfully.

I have nothing but praise for Izzy releasing this song - it's very special.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
