This Friday (14th August) will see US singer-songwriter, Caylee Hammack release her debut album, If It Wasn't For You.
If It Wasn't For You is made up of 13 songs of which Caylee wrote or co-wrote.

Just Friends starts with Caylee's softer vocals with a soft instrumental playing in the background. The first verse sees Caylee softer vocals being demonstrated allowing the lyrics to come across beautifully thanks to it's meaningful songwriting. I love the message within this song, and it's one that needs to be heard. The moment the song turned rockier, I adored the song even more thanks to the electric guitar. The chorus features sassy vocals that bought another dynamic to the song which I think listeners are going to love. Just Friends will definitely speak volumes to anything that has had their heart broken. The second verse continues Just Friends wonderfully with Caylee's sassiness which is portrayed fantastically within her rockier vocals. The instrumental is everything within this song. The final verse brings everything about Just Friends together so wonderfully that I couldn't help but enjoy every single moment of this song.

Reba and Caylee's harmonies are wonderful. The second verse continues with Reba taking the lead vocals and what an honour it is hearing her vocals on a track on pure genius. Reba's powerhouse vocals are ones that suited the lyrics so much, and with the lyrics blend so well together. The instrumental in the middle of Redhead gives you the real sense of empowerment which I love. Redhead ends with the final chorus which is just wonderful as it ends the song with a real warmth, and honesty about the song.
