NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: SARAH AND CAIN'S SECRET BEGINNING TO AFFECT THE PEOPLE AROUND THEM

Since Cain was diagnosed with cancer during a special episode earlier this month on Emmerdale, viewers have since seen Cain and Sarah Dingle work together stealing motors bringing a smile to their faces, however, next week will see the character's relationships begin to struggle.

The week begins with Cain Dingle making it clear to Sarah Sugden that he won't be involving her in anymore car thefts. Sarah can't help herself when she spies a sports car parked outside the village hall

As Sarah's about to speed off when Jacob Dingle appears furious to have caught his wife stealing his boss' flash motor knowing it could easily spell the end of his medical career. Jacob is soon hurt by Sarah’s inability to tell him the truth about what's really going on. I know you are protecting Cain, Sarah but surely you can tell Jacob the truth. Sarah is prevented from admitting the truth about Cain, as Cain still insists on keeping his cancer a secret from everyone. Whilst, Cain is ready to explode when Jacob turns up shouting about getting Sarah stealing cars.

Charity is soon livid and gives Cain both barrels leading to Cain walking off to avoid answering Charity's questions. Followed by Liam Cavanagh gently advising Cain that stealing cars is an indication that getting his cancer a secret isn't working, and is missing his families support. Liam, why do I think you are right.

Jacob is frustrated as yet again as Sarah rushes to make sure her granddad is OK. But once she is there Sarah explains she is fed up with being the only one in the family who knows and calls Cain a coward for being unable to front up to his nearest and dearest.

The question remains is Cain ready for his family to know?

Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 8pm on ITV1, and YouTube, and ITVX from 7am.

EASTENDERS REVIEW: A ROLLERCOASTER OF A WEEK FOR LAUREN AND PETER AS BEX RETURNED

This week's episodes of EastEnders saw Peter Beale propose to his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Branning who declined, however for me I personally think this is a great choice but the week continued to take the pair on an emotional rollercoaster. The fact that the week's episodes started with Peter Beale missing the baby scan, you could see Lauren Branning was in for an emotional week and honestly if any character needs support its Lauren! With Peter continuing to focus on his mum, Cindy Beale instead of Lauren really frustrated me. As much as I like Peter and Lauren as a couple in the show, I have to say Lauren choosing to turn down his proposal in Tuesday's episode (1st April) after everything that happened previously with Cindy Beale over Christmas with Lauren thinking that she was the one that injured her, and Peter doubting his girlfriend, where is the trust?
