NEXT WEEK A HUGE BLAZE IS SET TO ROCK THE COBBLES

Things are about to hot up on Coronation Street as a huge blaze will rip through the Platt's family house next week, destroying not only bricks and mortar but also the lives of David and Shona Platt along with their family and those close to them.

The action is set to start on Monday 3rd February with everyone gathered at the Bistro for Sarah Platt's birthday. However, Lily Platt, Ruby Dobbs, Hope Stape and Sam Blakeman sneak into number 8 leading to Toyah Habeeb rushes over to the house.

With no sign of Toyah Habeeb or the kids it becomes evident that there may be people trapped inside. As Nick Tilsley, Shona and Max Platt head into the inferno, will they make it out alive as a huge explosion rocks the street?

When the fire is proven to be arson some of the street's residents will start to feel the heat and find themselves forced to try and convince the police of their innocence.

But the question remains who is the mysterious hooded figure, we see pushing something through the letterbox of Number 8?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday's at 8pm on ITV with episodes available from 7am on ITVX.
