NEIGHBOURS DELIVERED SOME EMOTIONAL SCENES FOR KRISTA SINCLAIR

Since Krista Sinclair arrived in Erinsborough back in November 2023, the character has been an interesting one to watch and get to learn about.

Krista Sinclair played by Majella Davis has no doubt been on a ride throughout her time on the character, however, over recent weeks we have seen a more happier side to the character be shown since Krista and Leo Tanaka got together which has allowed for the character to have more happier moments as during last week's episodes viewers saw the pair attend Krista's baby scan.

Yesterday's episode (Wednesday 27th March) saw some incredibly emotive scenes air with some powerful moments within the script by David Adshead, but personally for me the standout moments were in Emma J Steele's directing as they were shot with such grace and respect that it was moving to watch, the silence spoke volumes. The decision to see how it affected Remi was beautifully captured as we viewers often forget how it affects the staff of our hospitals.

It was great to see Paul Robinson showing his sensitive side during the time when Krista needed someone the most, however, the scene between Krista, Leo and Hope on the hospital bed was beautifully captured. I have nothing but praise for Majella Davis for delivering the scenes with such vulnerability!

Today's episode (28th March) saw Krista continue to lean on Leo as well as Paul allowing for the father and son to make up. I loved how the Erinsborough residents all come together to support one another in their hour of need. 

Speaking of Krista leaning heavily on Paul upon learning the news and in the aftermath. Were you surprised the characters formed a bond? What was it like working with Stefan? Majella said "I think there’s something really beautiful about Paul being by Krista’s side during this. She only recently lost her father, and the relationship she has with Paul kind of mirrors the relationship she had with him. It honestly just fit so perfectly that he was there for her. I’ve been very fortunate to work so closely with Stefan. I love playing with the power dynamics when we’re in conflict, but I’ve got to say that the sweet stuff is really heart-warming and fun too. Hopefully we can just keep playing between the two extremes."

When asked about what she wants to see next for Krista, Majella commented: "I want more wins for Krista, I really do love seeing her thrive! Hopefully she and Leo can continue to support each other… I mean I wouldn’t hate it if they got married or even one day had a kid of their own. We’ll try and manifest that! Also, more fun events at Lassiters!"

COMING UP ON EMMERDALE: AMELIA CHRISTENS ESTHER AS CHARITY AND AMY BRING THE DRAMA

EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
