WHY TODAY'S NEIGHBOURS WAS A BEAUTIFUL SEND OFF FOR HENDRIX

*Spoiler blog for anyone in Australia as this episode hasn't aired for you yet, due to the U.K. pace of the show* I wasn't going to share this post as I have been a little behind on Neighbours, but having watched today's episode (21st June) how could I not share my thoughts. There was something so special and beautiful about today's double send off for Hendrix Grayson, who sadly passed away hours after his lung transplant during last Monday's episode (13th June) following his family devastated especially his wife, Mackenzie. Ever since Hendrix's death, Mackenzie has been determined to give her new husband the send off that he deserved, even more so after a video appeared about his last wishes wanting half of himself in Erinsborough, and the other half in Sydney. The Erinsborough send off was conducted by Chloe Brennan, and his family along with Mackenzie and Karl and Susan Kennedy were in Sydney. Susan's words had me a blubbering mess, I can't lie! For m...

WHAT AN EMOTIONAL EPISODE NEIGHBOURS HAS GIVEN US VIEWERS

*Spoiler blog for anyone in Australia as this episode hasn't aired for you yet due to the UK Pace of the show* Friday's episode  (10th June) saw how emotional Hendrix was feeling ahead of his transplant, however, at the brunch the way he said 'MY family' I was emotional.  But it was the part when Mackenzie and Hendrix were alone in the hospital room getting selfies that made me smile whilst extremely sad at the same time. The close up of Mackenzie's face broke me.  The preview had me crying, I am not ready for Monday's episode. Following on from Friday (10th June)'s episode of Neighbours, us viewers saw an emotional episode as Hendrix Grayson go down for his lung transplant, which in today's episode (13th June) we learnt that he went down hill rather quickly, and sadly died. At the start of today's episode, Chloe Brennan and Toadie Rebecchi were awaiting news on Hendrix whilst Susan and Karl Kennedy, his father, Pierce Greyson, his mum, Lisa, and of ...

The strong connection to the lyrics that you can hear Reya Jayne has especially as we can hear many different emotions allowing for a breath of fresh air throughout this song. There is so something so magical about the way that Reya Jayne is delivering these lyrics that has me wanting more. The chorus features many different perspectives within the lyrics as it gives us listeners many moments that will get us thinking about what you don't want actually want from a relationship, the more Man Like You continues the mo...

NEIGHBOURS EPISODE REVIEW AS HENDRIX AND MACKENZIE GOT MARRIED

*Spoiler blog for anyone in Australia as this episode hasn't aired for you yet due to the UK Pace of the show* This afternoon's (7th June) episode of Neighbours saw Hendrix Grayson, and Mackenzie Hargreaves finally get married in an emotional episode surrounded by their family and friends. Ever since Hendrix was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis he has been determined to make the most of every single moment, proposing to Mackenzie whilst visiting his family in Sydney. However, during last week's episodes viewers saw the loved up couple deciding to make the most of every second. Yesterday's episode saw Mackenzie's dad arrive and coming through with Melbourne Zoo to which Pierce didn't like! Hendrix just wants to make the dad special for Mackenzie with the emotions running high for both families. You can read my review of the episode here . From the very first scene of this afternoon's episode, it was obvious how special and emotional this episode was going to...

WHY THE PAST TWO HOLLYOAKS EPISODES HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC

Monday and Tuesday's episodes of this week's Hollyoaks have seen a mix of emotion with Monday's having a special set up with Luke Morgan's opening dialogue being a great one. Viewers saw Luke only wanting the best for his best friend, Darren Osborne who's secret it was meant to be. To viewers then seeing Cindy Cunningham stressing over Luke,  I really feel for her especially as she opened up to Zara Morgan about how extremely she was feeling. Steph Waring and Kelly Condron are brilliant.  Amongst all the other drama going on in the village. Next it was Nancy and Darren's wedding day, with Luke's dialogue continuing to make me emotional. Like how Zara is helping Nancy, but is keeping Cindy in the dark the best thing?! Love that Nancy and Darren are married as Luke surprises the married couple once again leaving Cindy even more confused as she knew nothing. I have to admit  I cried at Nancy and Cindy's heart-to-heart over Nancy's wedding day. I love th...

SOPHOMORE EP - HALLE KEARNS - EVERY GIRL

Image
Today (Friday 3rd June) will see US country pop singer-songwriter,  Halle Kearns  release her sophomore EP, Every Girl. Every Girl is made up of 5 tracks all written by Halle alongside co-writers. Photo Credit: Zack Knudsen Slow Down  starts with a guitar instrumental which also has some soft vocal tones which link wonderfully into the first verse. The first verse sees Halle's crisp vocal at the forefront that see Halle laying her heart out for us listeners with some incredibly beautiful and honest lyrics that I caught myself getting a little emotion over as they were ones I related back too in a way. The chorus continues with some rather poignant lyrics that are beautifully delivered in such a way that allows us listeners into Halle's world whilst, remaining a little upbeat. The lyrics message are ones that I really need to listener closely too, and start doing. The second verse of Slow Down is brilliantly soulful with a softer tone that I caught myself listening to...
