DEBUT SINGLE REVIEW - KELCI ASHTON - BAD BOY

This Friday (7th May) will see upcoming artist, Kelci Ashton release her debut single, Bad Boy.
Bad Boy is the first single from this incredibly talented young lady - Friday is going to be an exciting day.


Bad Boy starts with a soft guitar instrumental that sets the tone of the song wonderfully.
The first verse sees Kelci's soft crisp vocal at the forefront of Bad Boy that has this very personal feel to which seems to be based on many different personal experiences she has experienced in her life.
The chorus has many catchy lyrics that you can hear so much vulnerability within the vocal delivery and songwriting. I also like how relatable the lyrics will be for many of the listeners. The fact that the chorus is upbeat is something that makes it a wonderful road trip song. Kelci's vocal delivery is something that has me amazed throughout the attention to detail is perfect!
The second verse of Bad Boy continues with a softer vocal in a tone lower that sees Kelci's songwriting shine through, I love how the listeners get this real old school vibe within the song as Kelci's past is looked into a little for a moment adding this wonderful extra layer to the song.
I adore how the chorus of Bad Boy blends perfectly into every single verse giving off this sensational vibe that makes for wonderful listening. 
The final verse of Bad Boy brings so much life with her extremely softer vocal tone being demonstrated wonderfully, and enjoyment to the single that had me amazed continuing with this fantastic vibe. You can hear how passionate, Kelci is about every single word she is singing.
Bad Boy is one song, I can't wait to hear on the radio.

EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do.
