NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: KIM WELCOMES THEA TO THE FAMILY

During last Thursday's episode (29th October) saw the truth revealed about Kim Tate being DS Anthea Ramsden known to viewers as DS Thea Ramsden mother.

Kim Tate invites Thea (DS Ramsden) to spend time together, but Thea's hurt when she's hesitant to tell Mary Goskirk about their relationship which I must be hurtful.

Once Thea has left, Mary absorbs Kim's news. At Mary's suggestion, Kim tries reaching out to Thea. As she anxiously waits for Thea's response, Kim finds herself confiding in Charity Dingle.

Charity's shocked when Kim reveals Thea is her daughter, and urges Kim to stick with it citing her own relationship with Ryan Stocks. When Charity tells Thea that Kim told her about being her mother, and offers Thea food for thought.

However, when Thea calls in to meet Kim, Kim's elated, but Joe Tate is weary.

At The Woolpack, taking the plunge, Kim announces her relationship with Thea to the pub much to Thea's quiet delight. Kim seems delighted to welcome Thea to the family, but Joe is colder than ever. Could this be the turning point for Thea and Kim's relationship?

As Kim and Thea leave, Joe and Graham Foster agree they need to keep an eye on Thea.

Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 8pm on ITV1, and YouTube, and ITVX from 7am.
