DEBUT SINGLE REVIEW - MAISIE ROBBIE - MILESTONE

Today (Friday 15th April) will see Jersey born singer-songwriter, Maisie Robbie release her debut single, Milestone.

Milestone has a beautiful piano instrumental which sets the tone of the song wonderfully complimenting Maisie's vocal tone right from the start to the very end.
The first verse has many honest and heartfelt lyrics that I instantly listened to very closely as it had this real believable feel about it in a way that you can hear Maisie has written the song based on experience. I adore the honesty that is shown through as you can hear so much about who Maisie is as a person and artist which is a huge credit to her.
The chorus features many of the most gorgeous lyrics that you can hear from in a softer tone as it allows for the lyrics to have there moment to shine as well as hearing another side of who Maisie is as an artist.
The second verse of Milestone continues as the next part of her journey which for me is as inspiring and sets her above met artists at the moment as you can hear so much experience based within the songs lyrics. The way that Maisie adapts her vocal tone to every single emotion is fantastic and something that people are going to love as they get to know Maisie through this song.
The final verse sees Maisie's crisp vocal come through with the emotions shining through with such passion as Milestone ends the chorus is the perfect ending as the song comes full circle.

There is something so special about Milestone, Maisie thank you for releasing this song.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
