COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK DAYTIME HUB REVIEW - CASSADEE POPE

On Sunday (28th October), I saw Cassadee Pope perform at The Borderline as part of London's Country Music Week and what a set it was. It was the first time I've seen Cassadee live having supporting her for so long and it was well worth the wait as Cassadee is one incredibly special artist.

Cassadee was the final artist of Country Music Week’s Daytime Hubs of 2018 and what a finale it was - I was actually memorised by her!

Cassadee opened her 30 minute set with a fan favourite and one that got a massive cheer from the audience I Wish I Could Break Your Heart which had everyone singing along with right from the start leaving the audience memorised by her stunning vocal and guitar playing skills. Cassadee sounded amazing and it blew me away having waited so long to see her.

The second song on Cassadee’s set was Take You Home which showcased her amazing guitar playing skills. Take You Home was one song that had the audience singing along with every single word. The look on Cassadee's face when everyone was singing along was so wonderful and magical to witness. The audience were singing along with the chorus and the enjoy within the audience was amazing.

The third song from Cassadee was a song which she played thanks to meeting a fan that she met last and reminding her to sing 11 which was a song that the audience absolutely loved and getting the opportunity to hear it live was wonderful and one that you could tell meant so much to the audience by the way everyone was singing along with her!

A song especially for us about a difficult time she faced called If My Heart Had A Heart which is an unreleased song which got a massive cheer from the audience at the end. I loved the way that everyone was listening to every word that Cassadee was singing which was incredible to witness.
I really hope Cassadee one day choses to release this song because by the reaction of the audience everyone absolutely adored it listening closely to every listen.

The next song Cassadee sang was a Martina McBride cover called This Ones For The Girls which had the audience singing along with every word. The audience were totally in awe of her incredible vocal range which was used within this song. The fact that Cassadee had the audience singing along with every word was amazing and I loved the way that Cassadee interacted with the audience too! There is something so many about Cassadee and this song demonstrated this so well.

Cassadee then chose to perform her current single One More Red Light which went down a storm with the audience. And my god did Cassadee demonstrated her incredible guitar skills with a beautiful solo to finish the song off. Cassadee's vocals were just amazing throughout this song.

Cassadee then want on to thank her fans who attended tonight which was totally amazing to hear especially after having waited so long to see her.

Cassadee then chose to finish her set with her debut single after winning The Voice Wasting All These Tears which the audience absolutely adored and the crowd were singing along from start to finish which made Cassadee a little emotional. Cassadee's vocals during this song were incredible and the fact that everyone was enjoying this song made it even more special for Cassadee and the look on her face told us this!

Thank you for such an incredible set and I can’t wait for you to come back to the UK so I can do this all over again!
