INTERVIEW WITH TWO WAYS HOME ABOUT THEIR LATEST SINGLE SPEED OF ANYTHING

Image
This week's interview is with U.K Country Music duo, Two Ways Home where we spoke about their latest single, Speed of Anything.
Two Ways Home are made up of best friends, Isabella Mariee and Lewis Fowler.

Good Afternoon, Isabella and Lewis. Thank you so much for agreeing to this interview with me about your new single which I am very excited about.
Hope you're both well!
Your new single Speed of Anything, could you tell us what it's about?
Speed Of Anything is about telling the other person in a relationship that you don't mind what speed things move at, as long as you're together. It's a love story of two kids meeting a long time ago and never quite finding the right moment to tell each other how they feel until they finally do.

What inspired you to write this song?

This is a Two Ways Home/Kaity Rae collaboration. It originated from a thought about how people get so caught up in worrying about whether they're rushing into things or whether they want to take thin…

SINGLE REVIEW - TENILLE ARTS - SOMEBODY LIKE THAT

Image
TODAY (27th September) sees U.S. Singer/ Song-writer, Tenille Arts release her brand new single, Somebody Like That.

Somebody Like That starts with a guitar instrumental giving off wonderful country vibes from the very start of the song which I absoultely adore!
The first verse instantly showcases Tenille's incredible vocal range with her softer and emotional tones through her incredible song-writing ability especially with her vulnerability which is just amazing to hear - singers who wear their heart on their sleeves are one in a million.
The lyrics throughout Somebody Like That are so honest and written from the heart which you can tell by the way Tenille sings them.  The chorus is such a fun and upbeat one that I couldn't help but try and sing along with. The catchy lyrics are perfect and break the song up in the most wonderful way. The second verse continues the song wonderfully with the continuous use of heartfelt lyrics and you get to hear how much her families support me…

SINGLE REVIEW - JESS AND THE BANDITS - LOVE DON'T GIVE A DAMN

Image
This Friday (27th September) will see U.S. Singer/ Songwriting band, Jess and The Bandits releasing their brand new single, Love Don't Give A Damn.

Love Don't Give A Damn starts with wonderful guitar instrumental which gives me instant country feels.
The first verse showcases Jess' wonderful slower and softer vocal tone allowing the lyrics to shine through. The story of Love Don't Give A Damn is set off in the most heartfelt way and this is one thing I love about Jess' song-writing ability.
The chorus is one written right from the right heart and one I caught myself listening to very closely to the lyrics with the lyrics being super catchy. Jess' vocal range gets better and better with every single verse.
The second verse continues the song off in the most beautiful way and one a lot of Jess' fans will be able to relate with. I caught myself listening to the verse even more closely than the first and being able to relate it being in that situation and you kn…

TENILLE ARTS MAKES GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT PERFORMING CALL YOU NAMES & SOMEBODY LIKE THAT

Image
View Call You Names Video HERE

Very few dreams are as special to a Country music artist as playing the Grand Ole Opry for the first time, and that was exactly the case for Reviver Records artist Tenille Arts Saturday night. Tenille's parents and siblings made the trip from her native Weyburn, Saskatchewan for the wonderful evening as did much of her extended family and friends.

Opry member Jeannie Seely introduced Tenille, who walked out on the hallowed stage, entered the sacred circle and launched into her latest recording Somebody Like That. The Opry band then quietly left the stage, as Tenille told the story behind writing her current single, Call You Names. With just her acoustic guitar and microphone she delivered the beautiful song that left few dry eyes in the audience.

“I really don’t think I’m ever going to get over the pure magic of Saturday night,” said Tenille. “My Opry debut was everything I could have dreamed of and more!! Thank you to my family, my friends, my team, and…

SINGLE REVIEW - LOUISE PARKER - STORY OF LOVE

Image
This Friday (27th September) will see UK artist Singer/ Songwriter, Louise Parker who's based in Essex release her brand new single, Story Of Love. Louise is currently out in Austin, Texas where she will be spending most of the rest of 2019 writing, recording and playing live before heading back to the UK for gigs in early 2020.

Story Of Love starts with a beautiful guitar instrumental which is also rather funky, giving off a wonderful country feel right from the start giving it so much more than I ever expected. The first verse showcases Louise's incredible song-writing right from the off and the story behind the lyrics is just wonderful. The story of love begins and it starts in a different way than what I first thought and I love this about Louise's song-writing. The chorus is utterly stunning which translates as perfection for me which is complimented fantastically by the guitar instrumental throughout allowing Louise's song-writing to shine through especially when…

SINGLE REVIEW - LENA STONE - HOTEL

Image
TODAY (20th September) will see U.S. Singer/ Songwriter, Lena Stone release her brand new single Hotel.
Lena wrote Hotel  with Adam Wood who has written with Lena, a few times of her debut EP.

Hotel starts with a lovely and soft however funky guitar and drum instrumental which is quickly followed by Lena’s vocals which are soft and allow the songwriting to shine through immediately! The first verse opens the song up wonderfully and I instantly caught myself listening to every single lyric that was being sung by Lena.
The chorus of Hotel  is wonderful and I caught myself listening too these even more closely thanks to the very fun lyrics which happen to cement the verses together in the most beautiful way. The more I heard the chorus the more I wanted to sing along despite now knowing the lyrics 100%.
Hotel  is the perfect road trip song.
The second verse talks to us our experiences at hotels especially about the freebies we get when we stay at any hotels and that most of us take the free…

ONE YEAR ON SINCE EASTENDERS RUBY ALLEN RETURNED

Image
Today (18th September) marks one year since the amazingly talented actress that is Louisa Lytton return to the role of Ruby Allen after 12 long years away!
I have decided to write this blog to take a look back at what an amazing year, Louisa has had and the storylines she has tackled raising a lot of awareness.
Copyright BBC
On Tuesday 18th September, 2018 saw Louisa's comeback scenes as Ruby in The E20 where she saw her best friend, Stacey Fowler (this is one friendship I am grateful they decided to remember).
Ruby later attended a school reunion with Stacey and her husband, Martin where she met two of his school friends, Ross who she flirted with and Matt which lead to some emotional scenes the next day of Ruby telling her best friend what happened as she said she went back to Ross' house but wake up with Matt on top of her which led to the consent storyline (and the reason Luisa agreed to return to the show). Stacey later told Ruby that she needs to report what happened with…

SINGLE REVIEW - HANNAH PARIS - CRAZY FOR YOU

Image
This Friday (20th September) will see U.K. Singer/ Songwriter, Hannah Paris releasing her brand new single, Crazy For You.
razy For You is a duet with Josh Gleaves.

Crazy For You starts with beautiful instrumental which I instantly loved from the very start.
The first verse shows Hannah's wonderful softer vocal range which is quickly joined by Josh on this verse which was amazing because I wasn't expecting it until the chorus at least.
The chorus is one that is full of wonderful and heartfelt lyrics which obviously mean so much to Hannah and Hannah's softer vocal made the song even more meaningful which I adored thanks for Hannah's vocal range.
The second verse is one which Josh started and thanks to the lyrics you really gone to feel the lyrics from the song-writing and artists like this are extremely rare - so thank you Hannah for sharing this with your fans. The instrumental of the drums is just wonderful and adds so much to the song.
The bridge showcases their amazi…

SINGLE REVIEW - KAMRYN PALMER - RUNNING

Image
This Friday aka tomorrow (13th September) will see U.S. Singer/ Songwriter, Kamryn Palmer release her new single, Running.

Running starts with a little instrumental which carries on throughout before you are instantly hit with the first verse which I have to say is very catchy one and one I caught myself wanting to sing along with right from the off.
The chorus is also one very catchy one and the lyrics are very honest - you can instantly get what situation Kamryn is singing about and I love it. Kamryn's many different vocal tones are just beautiful and are shown throughout the song.
The second verse continues the story telling beautiful and how she knows her man or men and about how they always have their fears - when you listen to the lyrics carefully everyone can definitely relate to them one way or another when it comes to a relationship.

SINGLE REVIEW - ROSEY CALE - KEEPER

Image
This Friday (13th September) will see U.K. Singer/ Songwriter, Rosey Cale release her brand new single, Keeper which is also available in Welsh too.
Keeper was written after Rosey had written a few songs about heartache and heartbreak but wasn't focusing on the good ones, so this is why Rosey decided to write this song.

Keeper is one song I loved the moment the upbeat and funky instrumental started. The first verse features some wonderful lyrics about the little moments you partner does for you and the moment your partner home to meet the parents songs don't even mention this side of the earlier happier times in a relationship before the chorus comes in and makes you instantly smile. The Keeper chorus is one that features some of the most magical lyrics that you can't help but sing along with. The second verse is the verse about the times your partner brings you the little things like breakfast in bed/ make the tea/ the I love you's which instantly makes you smile and yo…

EASTENDERS EPISODE REVIEW - FRIDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER - THE AFTERMATH OF HUNTER'S DRAMA IN THE QUEEN VIC

Image
After watching Monday's trailer after the episode for the week ahead the way that Keanu Taylor ran to try and help his pregnant fiancée, Louise Mitchell who was trapped inside after hearing a gunshot go off and knowing that his pregnant girlfriend, Louise Mitchell is in there my heart was in my mouth. I adore how protective Keanu is to Louise and their baby.

After last night's intense episode there is no wonder tonight's episode was tense too.

Copyright BBC

In tonight's first scene of the episode, viewers were taken into The Vic where the aftermath from Hunter's siege was unfolding with the police ushering people away from around The Vic after hearing a gunshot leaving everyone inside screaming.
Viewers then saw Phil Mitchell and Keanu Taylor determined and frantically trying to get into The Vic to help everyone inside especially Keanu's fiancée and Phil's daughter, Louise Mitchell. All I was thinking was please don't let it be Louise or Lisa Fowler.

SINGLE REVIEW - KELSEA BALLERINI - HOMECOMING QUEEN

Image
TODAY (6th September) sees U.S. Singer/ Songwriter, Kelsea Ballerini release the first song, Homecoming Queen from album number 3 and you know what I am very excited about this!

Homecoming Queen starts with a soft and slow instrumental which starts the song off in the most beautiful way and instantly had me feeling a emotional from the very first verse which contained some incredibly moving and honest lyrics about self-worth, self-esteem, and being true to ourselves and not many artists are brave enough to write sings like this, so thank you Kelsea.
The chorus contains some super catchy lyrics and ones that I caught myself instantly singing along with at the top of lungs after contacting with them having tears in eyes whilst listening.
The chorus is teaching us about being our best foot forward and this message within the song is so important at the moment, I can't thank you enough for wanting to get the message out there.
I have never been more grateful a song at this moment in my …

In tonight's episode of EastEnders, viewers saw the continuing drama of Hunter Owen ready to cause drama demanded to get revenge on Jack Branning, whilst Bianca Jackson heard some home truths from Sonia Fowler and Keanu Taylor said goodbye to his brother, Keegan Taylor.

In tonight's first scene of the episode, viewers saw party goers in The Vic where Hunter Owen entered and stared at Jack Branning who was in the pub celebrating before making his way into the cellar.

Moments later, Lisa Fowler and Phil Mitchell are seen walking into the square where they bump into Sharon Rickman whilst, Phil bumped into his son, Ben Mitchell who after the Keanu Taylor/ Ben Mitchell showdown in Tuesday's episode its no wonder, Ben was looking beaten up but it's Phil's reaction to hearing that Keanu is back that got me, however the moment when he demanded Lisa Fowler contacted his daughter, Louise Mitchell grabbing her phone which was then dropped on the ground as Lisa tried to get he…
