SINGLE REVIEW - TENILLE ARTS - SOMEBODY LIKE THAT

Today (Friday 27th September) will see Canadian singer-songwriter, Tenille Arts release her brand new single, Somebody Like That. Somebody Like That starts with a guitar instrumental giving off wonderful country vibes from the very start of the song which I absoultely adore! The first verse instantly showcases Tenille's incredible vocal range with her softer and emotional tones through her incredible song-writing ability especially with her vulnerability which is just amazing to hear - singers who wear their heart on their sleeves are one in a million. The lyrics throughout Somebody Like That are so honest and written from the heart which you can tell by the way Tenille sings them.  The chorus is such a fun and upbeat one that I couldn't help but try and sing along with. The catchy lyrics are perfect and break the song up in the most wonderful way. The second verse continues the song wonderfully with the continuous use of heartfelt ...

TENILLE ARTS MAKES GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT PERFORMING CALL YOU NAMES & SOMEBODY LIKE THAT

Very few dreams are as special to a Country music artist as playing the Grand Ole Opry for the first time, and that was exactly the case for Reviver Records artist Tenille Arts Saturday night. Tenille's parents and siblings made the trip from her native Weyburn, Saskatchewan for the wonderful evening as did much of her extended family and friends. Opry member Jeannie Seely introduced Tenille who walked out on the hallowed stage entered the sacred circle and launched into her latest recording Somebody Like That. The Opry band then quietly left the stage, as Tenille told the story behind writing her current single, Call You Names. With just her acoustic guitar and microphone she delivered the beautiful song that left few dry eyes in the audience. “I really don’t think I’m ever going to get over the pure magic of Saturday night,” said Tenille.  “My Opry debut was everything I could have dreamed of and more!! Thank you to my family, my friends, my team, and my ...

ONE YEAR ON SINCE EASTENDERS RUBY ALLEN RETURNED

Today (18th September) marks one year since the amazingly talented actress that is Louisa Lytton return to the role of Ruby Allen after 12 long years away! I have decided to write this blog to take a look back at what an amazing year, Louisa has had and the storylines she has tackled raising a lot of awareness. On Tuesday 18th September, 2018 saw Louisa's comeback scenes as Ruby in The E20 where she saw her best friend, Stacey Fowler (this is one friendship I am grateful they decided to remember). Ruby later attended a school reunion with Stacey and her husband, Martin where she met two of his school friends, Ross who she flirted with and Matt which lead to some emotional scenes the next day of Ruby telling her best friend what happened as she said she went back to Ross' house but wake up with Matt on top of her which led to the consent storyline (and the reason Louisa agreed to return to the show). Stacey later told Ruby that she needs to report what happened w...

SINGLE REVIEW - KELSEA BALLERINI - HOMECOMING QUEEN

Today (Friday 6th September) will see US singer-songwriter,  Kelsea Ballerini release her latest single, Homecoming Queen her first from album number 3 and you know what I am very excited about this! Homecoming Queen starts with a soft and slow instrumental which starts the song off in the most beautiful way and instantly had me feeling a emotional from the very first verse which contained some incredibly moving and honest lyrics about self-worth, self-esteem, and being true to ourselves and not many artists are brave enough to write sings like this, so thank you Kelsea. The chorus contains some super catchy lyrics and ones that I caught myself instantly singing along with at the top of lungs after contacting with them having tears in eyes whilst listening. The chorus is teaching us about being our best foot forward and this message within the song is so important at the moment, I can't thank you enough for wanting to get the message out there. I hav...

In tonight's episode of EastEnders, viewers saw the continuing drama of Hunter Owen ready to cause drama demanded to get revenge on Jack Branning, whilst Bianca Jackson heard some home truths from Sonia Fowler and Keanu Taylor said goodbye to his brother, Keegan Taylor. Tonight's episode was written by Lauren Klee and directed by Karl Neilson. In tonight's first scene of the episode, viewers saw party goers in The Vic where Hunter Owen entered and stared at Jack Branning who was in the pub celebrating before making his way into the cellar. Moments later, Lisa Fowler and Phil Mitchell are seen walking into the square where they bump into Sharon Rickman whilst, Phil bumped into his son, Ben Mitchell who after the Keanu Taylor/ Ben Mitchell showdown in Tuesday's episode its no wonder, Ben was looking beaten up but it's Phil's reaction to hearing that Keanu is back that got me, however the moment when he demanded Lisa Fowler contacted his daughter, Louis...
