DEBUT ALBUM REVIEW - LANCO - HALLELUJAH NIGHTS

Lanco release their debut album Hallelujah Nights on Arista Nashville (Sony Music) on Friday 19th January. Hallelujah Nights is made up of 11 songs and below I give my review of Lanco's debut album Hallelujah Nights. Born to Love You strong vocals throughout with the lyrics being very thought about. Gives you a very Southern country vibe. Great use of the drums works with vocals and allows the vocalist to shine. Long Live Tonight sounded rocky to start but you soon realise it isn't. The lyrics are very detailed with a VERY catchy chorus that I caught myself singing along too! This song for me is perfect for a summer's day road trip. Pick You Up is a country pop/ rock sound which I love! There is something about their vocal that is magical and I think it's because you get a scent of them being very laid back. The second verse is catchy and I caught myself singing along. I absolutely love  Greatest Love Story very catchy and the instrum...

SCOTTY McCREERY’S LONG-AWAITED ALBUM, SEASONS CHANGE, AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER EVERYWHERE NOW

After a five-year wait and a multitude of life changes, Scotty McCreery releases his highly anticipated album, Seasons Change for digital pre-order everywhere today, ahead of its 16th March release on Sony’s Triple Tigers Records - his first album on the label. The project features his current nearly-Top 10-and-climbing radio hit, Five More Minutes, which People calls an “emotional walk down memory lane.” Wherever You Are was co-written by Scotty, Frank Rogers and Dan Isbell. The song outlines the motivation love gives to do whatever it takes to be with a significant other, and is inspired by Scotty's recently-engaged fiancée, Gabi Dugal. 24-year old singer-songwriter, Scotty has a lot to say on the 11 track album produced by Frank, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis. With every song co-written by Scotty himself, Seasons Change marks the first time he’s played a hand in writing his entire album. With songs influenced by true-life events that occurred since he released his last a...

INTERVIEW WITH DANNY MCMAHON

Welcome to my first blog of 2018 which is an interview with the lovely and talented British singer-songwriter,  Danny McMahon . Hey Danny. Thank you for agreeing to this interview with us. This will be the first interview on 2018 and I look forward to sharing it with our readers. How old were you were you decided to start writing your own songs? And when did you write and perform your first song? I wrote my first song when I was 14 years old. I was dragged along to a studio session at school with a group of friends. I wasn’t planning on being involved, but I was asked to help write a melody line over a chord progression. I wrote the whole thing in about ten minutes and the guy who owned the studio suggested I have a look at doing song-writing. I then began saving and bought myself a keyboard. By the time I was 16 I’d already written about 25 songs. Again I was 14 when I performed my first song. How long (on average) does it take you to write a song? Writing a...
