SINGLE REVIEW - KAYLEE ROSE - LOOK LIKE YOU
Today (Friday 3rd April) will see US singer-songwriter, Kaylee Rose release her latest single, Look Like You.
Looks Like You is one incredibly written song.
Look Like You starts with a beautiful piano instrumental which sets the song up in such a perfectly beautiful way. The first verse features some rather incredibly beautiful and heartfelt lyrics that I caught myself being able to relate too about with my own mum. There is something so special and unique about this song that within moments, I caught myself getting really emotional over.
The chorus supports all aspects of Look Like You so incredibly well. The lyrics are so beautifully written and the instrumental supports all the emotions, you feel as you listen to the song in a wonderfully beautiful way.
The second verse continues Look Like You wonderfully especially with all the lyrics referring back to your childhood and growing up that a lot of us listeners will be able to relate with! But most importantly, realising everything that your mum/ mother figure does/ did for you and the truth is, she really is your inspiration in life.
The bridge of Look Like You is stunningly beautiful and sung right from the heart giving me goosebumps as we head into the final verse of the song which I have to admit has a very softer tone as thanks to it's heartfelt lyrics.
Kaylee - I really do appreciate you writing this song so much and for realising it at the most perfect time. Kaylee, you are also one hell of a singer/ songwriter who I hope visits the UK soon!
