MY FAVOURITE ROBRON MOMENTS OF 2025

*There is no better time you share this blog than today, 4th December... If “You Know, I Know”*

Back in May this year, Emmerdale viewers saw the much-anticipated return of Robert Sugden that had Robron fans excited especially as many fans unsure if they were ever gonna get a Robert return! Since Robert's return particularly over recent months has seen the tension with much loved fan favourite couple working together once again, whilst continuing to have one another's back.

Ryan Hawley and Danny Miller are two brilliant actors who bring so much to their character's and it's something that us Robroners love and appreciate, especially with the tiny details that make Robron, Robron!

“You’re Still The Love Of My Life, Aaron!” is one of my favourite lines and one line, I never thought I would hear again, but thankfully Ryan Hawley decided to come back as Robert Sugden in his surprise return during Wednesday 28th May's episode - what a brilliant move from Emmerdale in 2025.

Back in September, Aaron and Robert in The Woolpack “You know... in a different, me and you, maybe things would've been different.” To Robert saying “Well, I can't stop loving you in this one!” Now, let's all be honest this moment broke us and instantly became one of our favourite moments, am I right?

“You Know, I Know” has to get its own very special mention as this line will never get old especially as it holds so many memories for us Robron fans whether you've been here since the very beginning in 2014 to those that have discovered this brilliant set of characters (2025) and honestly would it be Robron without this classic line?

Robert and Aaron Teaming Up who doesn't love it when Robron work together to get rid of a certain someone who was getting in their way especially when they lied to one another aka Kev played by the brilliant Chris Coghill who I have to has been brilliant with the drama his character has bought to Robert and Aaron's lives, it was the scheming side of Robron that is quite refreshing to see reminding us of older scenes. The “But if it works he's out of our lives forever” and “Robert, I love you and you love me and for now that’s all we need to know” lines were brilliant especially are these were the moments you could see Robert and Aaron were ready to face, whatever was coming their way as long as they are together everything will be ok.

“I'm Not Going Anywhere” line from Aaron during Robert's breakdown during Monday 18th August deserved a special mention as this line for me felt like one of the first turning points for their friendship/ relationship falling into place.

Last month, Robert got injured for Protecting Aaron when Kev wanted to hurt Aaron seeing Robert jumping in front of his true love whilst getting seriously injured in the process whilst showing growth of the characters. The dialogue was interesting during the episode with some key lines with Kev saying to Aaron “He still chooses you!” to Kev saying to Robert “You stepped in front of him, why would ya do that?” with Robert saying “The same reason you did it for me” to Kev. However, Robert telling Kev “It was always gonna be Aaron!” it was safe to say this was my favourite line of the episode, and of course Robert would as he has already chosen Aaron since 4th December, 2014! 

“I Will Never Leave Your Side Again. You Know That Don't Ya? I Want It, Aaron, Us... I Want It All Back!” was a moment during a prison chat with Robert and Aaron that I remembering thinking this could be the start of Robron getting back on track, but it's gonna be long, but look at them now - reunited!

Robert's Return even though it's down the list it's definitely one of my favourite moments from any of the soaps in 2025 as it was definitely a surprise as the cliff-hanger came, whilst being a moment that many of us fans filled with hopefulness the following episode that Robron would finally reunite and who can forget their first kiss on 'that' bridge (need I say more) with Robert telling Aaron “Cos every single second that I spent in inside, I never stopped being in love with you!” to “We weren't a good thing, Aaron. You were the best thing!”

The 6th November Episode deserves a paragraph of its own with it being such a brilliantly delivered with Robron lines that made many of us smile and think back to the very beginning with them sneaking around and giving us viewers some great lines... “Read your vows.... most people don’t get as lucky as I am today, because I get to spend the rest of my life with this man... The kindest, bravest person that I’ve ever known, he’s taught me so much about what love is to “I would be completely lost without him” to Robert then saying “Aaron, he isn’t you!” After sleeping together Robert said “I'll never regret being with you ever.” With Robert telling Aaron “I'll never regret being with you ever” and “I can’t walk away from you again not ever.” However, it was the “messed up forever” line that broke me followed by the mutual moment of “I love you!” and “I love you, too!” with Robert saying it first which was a key moment for them too as Robert was being very open about how he feels and always has done let's be honest.

Giving Into Temptation! Back in August, Aaron saw Robert in a vulnerable way with him then reassuring and listening to Robert which led to the fan favourite couple giving into temptation with many parallels from previous years that were appreciated by Robron fans especially as you could see how confident the characters were becoming in each other's company like old times giving us many new favourite quotes from “I came back here cos I wanted you... I've always wanted you!” with Aaron then stating “I've had to push you away, cos we both know what will happen if we get close.” To the final conversation of the episode between them as Robert said “I wish we could stay like this forever.” Aaron: “I wish things weren't so complicated. I should probably go.” Robert: “No, no, come on let's make this last bit longer... So what does this mean for me and you?” Aaron: “I've no idea, but I don't really wanna think about that just yet.” Before Aaron later said “I just don't want us to over think it.” However the final line of the episode was one of my favourites “God knows, I've made you wait all this long. Now it's my turn to be patient.”

The Episode Leading To Robert Sugden's Prison Flashback Episode as well as Prison Episode! Yes, I know it was mostly Robert but Aaron's reassurance was special and something many of us long time fans enjoyed especially the key lines that represent their relationship from the “you know, I know” to “I wanted to see you, I needed you!” To Wednesday hearing “He was happiest with you! and “What you had was special, everyone can see it!” from Faith Dingle during surprise flashback scene with the episode ending with Aaron saying “Whatever you need, I'm there for ya!” lines - it was these attention to details from the writers as well as Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley that go down well with fans.

Another episode, I have to mention is the standalone episode back on Tuesday 17th June featuring Robert, Aaron, John and Victoria Sugden in a drama filled episode that saw Robert determined to bring John down which is say to say he did in a way despite John now being one the run. The dialogue throughout that episode was brilliant from everyone involved but the acting from Danny and Ryan was captivating. With lines like “Because your here that makes everything ok” from Robert to Aaron to moments later “It doesn't stop me from loving ya!” to “Aaron, I remember being with you was the best!” with Aaron's “It was chaos half the time” with Robert saying “Yeah, but it was worth it” to Aaron's “Worth it so much, you cut me off and divorced me” - these lines for me felt really honest and open.

Key Robron Lines That Deserve A Mention

There was something so beautiful and simple about this line that made “Miss me?” during his first appearance back it was delivered in such a unique way that only Ryan would know how too, with many of us Robron fans rejoicing in the fact that Rob was gonna do all he could to be reunited with his Ron making Robron complete.

“I was always coming back for you, Aaron!” - Oh, Robert you really are a just one big softy when it comes to Aaron.

In September after all the John Sugden drama, Aaron apologised as Robert said “I Still Care About Ya A Lot” to “All That Matters Now Is Us. We Got Through It. We're ok.” is the same set of beautifully written dialogue 

“I Know What I Want, Robert And It's You! And I Want You” - Too right you do, Aaron. Never doubted you for one moment.

“I’ve everything I need right here.” - Aaron to Robert was a beautiful line.

“We got together at my vow renewal.” - of course you did, we wouldn't have expected anything differently.

“I just wanna be with you properly without worrying about what will happen if Kev finds out.” - The vulnerable side of Robert has been interesting to see.

“Robert, I love you and you love me and for now that's all we need to know.” - Oh, Aaron *emotional*, but nice to see them finally happy in each other's company and being proud about it.

“If you were back in prison, you wouldn’t have me would ya, soft lad?” - a funny and playful line. “The soft lad” parallel was back reminding me of 2016 moments - one line I wasn't expecting to hear in 2025.
