With Corriedale set to air next Monday (5th January) in a special hour-long episode at 8pm on ITV1 with no early release. The week begins inside Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden's flat where John Sugden remains bound, gagged, and the gun still aimed at him. Unexpectedly, Aaron knocks Robert unconscious and John dares to believe his hope for a life with Aaron away from Emmerdale could come true. One thing soaps do really well is a Christmas Episode and Emmerdale is the one soap that usually manages to make me want to sit down and watch the episode after busy Christmas Day and this year, I don't think will be any different. Today (Friday 5th December) Canadian singer-songwriter,  Tenille Arts  release her brand new single, Don't Ruin Flowers. Don;t Run Flowers was written by Tenille Arts alongside Ryan Kohn and Lydia Sutherland with Ryan also producing the track. With Sam having quit his job after standing up to Joe Tate, however with bills mounting up Lydia Dingle urges Sam to get his job back. I wasn't sure that I was even going to write this blog let alone share it, but how could I not when it was a big episode for Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden known as Robron to their loyal fans. From the very moment Kev Townsend was revealed as Robert Sugden's husband there has been trouble, however tonight's episode (Thursday 27th November) was brilliant viewing as Kev set out for revenge, but sneaking into Aaron Dingle's flat was when the drama began having discovered Robert was there much to his shock. During next week's visits to Yorkshire based soap, Emmerdale viewers will see Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle come up with a plan following over recent weeks continuing to support one another when one of them is struggling. Robert in a clever way tries to glean where Kev Townsend hid his loot from last week's robbery. Why am I thinking this side of Robert could be interesting to see again.  With Robert shaken, when Kev reiterates he doesn't like being lied to, and begins to worry that he's onto them. Robert and Aaron grimly reflect on the likeliness of finding Kev's stolen loot. Liam Cavanagh is stressed when Kev arrives unexpectedly and forces him to agree to back up his lie to Robert by pretending his heart condition was a misdiagnosis.  Let's hope Robert can see through Kev's lies. Today (Friday 14th November) singer-songwriter,  Ashley Cooke  has released her brand-new project called ace which is made up of 9 tracks. The tracks were all co-written by Ashley and produced by Dann Huff. Getting Old  opens up this era of Ashley Cooke music beautifully with Ashley's softer tone with some vulnerability lyrics that bought a tear to my eye as it's one of those growing up song that makes you appreciate your parents even more than you ever thought you could and would. The way that the lyrics grow as the song develops is a testament to Ashley's songwriting skills - I have a feeling this will be a hit with many fans. The depth of the meaningful lyrics are special and deserve a lot of praise. Ashley's vocal tones are stunningly timed. Baby Blues  is a fun and bluesy sounding track whilst remaining truthful and honest about her feelings and the emotions that come with it. Back in October, Emmerdale announced series of standalone episodes with tonight's episode (Wednesday 12th November) seeing Ryan Hawley's character, Robert Sugden at the forefront  this is one I have been excited about since the announcement as there's definitely something being held back since his return at the end of May and it's not just Kev Townsend in my opinion. Last Thursday's episode (6th November),  Robert went through with his vow renewal despite viewers in the final scene learning Kev wasn't actually dying thanks to Liam Cavanagh and that he'd been stringing Robert along it would seem. However, Robert and Aaron agreed to enter their 2.0 affair era personally I'm pleased. The 'You know, I know' line made many fans very happy - thank you Isobel Cameron! Following last month's announcement of Emmerdale airing a set of standalone episodes and finally next week it's Robert Sugden's turn.  This is one episode I have been very excited about airing as I think it'll be one where us viewers will get a lot of answers to the questions we have. When Ryan Hawley returned to our screens as Robert Sugden back in May, viewers have seen the character on a rollercoaster especially with viewers recently learning that the character is indeed married to Kev Townsend.
