INTERVIEW WITH TIGIRLILY GOLD AHEAD OF THEIR C2C APPEARANCE

I feel very honoured having been allowed the opportunity to bring you this interview with Tigirlily Gold ahead of their appearance this weekend at C2C.

Hello Krista and Kendra, how are you today?
We are fantastic considering we will be in London in less than a week!!

Congratulations on being selected to perform at this year's Country 2 Country Festival, how are you feeling about it?
We could not be more excited! We’ve never played an international show before, so we are thrilled to make our international debut in London!

Will performing at the festival be the first time you have performed in London?
This will be our first time performing in London, and our first time ever visiting London as well!

Back in 2021, you released your EP 'Tigirlily' which is made up of 5 songs will any of these brilliant songs be performed? Somebody Does is a song that has got me through a low time.
Wow, thank you for sharing. That song means so much to us. We will definitely be playing Somebody Does & possibly another one off of the EP, and then a LOT of brand new music.

Your latest single, Shoot Tequila was released in January which I have to say is an amazing party song perfect for C2C, please tell me that this song will be performed?
Absolutely! 100%! We have felt so much UK love on this song. London is actually one of our top streaming cities!!! We can’t come all the way to London and NOT play it!

What kind of things can fans expect to see? Covers? New music?
It will just be the two of us, and the acoustic guitar, so it will be a raw & very authentic performance of what we do! Mostly originals, a lot of unreleased music that will be coming out this year, and definitely one of our favorite covers!

Are you excited about seeing your UK fans love hearing your music live and hopefully meeting many of them?
Yes, we cannot wait to see & meet our UK fans! It’s wild to us that people are listening to our music in other countries, we will be on an adrenaline high!

I have to ask before I let you go, who are you both excited to be seeing as part of the festival?
Lady A, Breland and friends show *heard that’s going to be a pretty sweet after party*, Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis, too many to name, we also have so many friends that will be playing in London that week & it will be fun to see them and support them!

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
