SINGLE REVIEW - OLIVIA LANE - HEY 3AM

This Friday (11th January) will see US singer-songwriter, Olivia Lane (who is one of my ones to watch in 2019) releasing her first single of 2019.
Hey 3am which is an extremely moving song.
I was kindly given the opportunity to review Hey 3am below you can read it.

Hey 3am starts with a beautiful guitar instrumental which sets the song of beautifully before Olivia comes in with her moving lyrics which I couldn't help but connect with right from the start and I am sure many of you will be able to do too.
Hey 3am starts with lyrics that everyone is able to relate too, with those thoughts we have when we can't sleep and I know for me its around 3am. There is something so magical and moving within Olivia's slight vocal change of Hey 3am that gave me goosebumps and her song-writing is just incredible.
The chorus features from wonderful lyrics that get you thinking and I am so glad Olivia has written this song from her perspective which I just adore which leads to the second verse very nicely and one that I caught myself wanting to have a little cry too (in a good way thanks to the beautiful lyrics).
The final chorus gives the song a little more of a positive message which you don't hear yourself thinking thanks to the softer vocals from Olivia and saying to yourself at 3am. Hey 3am - you had me in tears!

Hey 3am is one song I have nothing but faith in with it extremely moving lyrics that I could myself relating too so much.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. The chorus features many catchy upbeat lyrics that I could myself singing along with despite not knowing the lyrics 100% typical Kellie. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
