SINGLE REVIEW - LAURA EVANS - TAKE ME BACK HOME
This Friday (5th March) will see Welsh singer-songwriter, Laura Evans release her latest single, Take Me Back Home.
Take Me Back Home starts with a very upbeat instrumental which has Laura's strong vocal in right from the start right to the end.
The first verse of Take Me Back Home starts straight away which sees Laura's heart warming vocals at the forefront with her crisp country vocals introducing the song beautifully that give off this wonderful feel, about a relationship with her hometown. The lyrics are ones that have a very heart warming feeling to them showcasing who Laura is as an artist perfectly.
The chorus of Take Me Back Home feature some beautiful lyrics that just roll off your tongue, which are my favourite kind of lyrics if I am 100% honest. I adore the fact that Laura has written a song about where she is from because all of the emotion within the lyrics are one that a lot of people will be able to relate with about their hometowns.
The second verse continues Take Me Back Home beautifully with all the homely feels which you get from the lyrics, especially as Laura is looking forward to the future in her hometown. Your hometown is the place that built you, and the place that you will always be thankful for whether it's good or bad experiences - Laura captivates this in the most magical way!
The final verse of Take Me Back Home sees Laura's higher vocal range appear which is just wonderfully beautiful to hear.
There is something so beautifully magical about Take Me Back Home that I can't quiet explain, but I have a lot of praise for!
