NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: ROBERT AND AARON CLEAR THE AIR

Image
From the very moment Robert Sugden returned to the Yorkshire Dales based soap  after 6 years away, Emmerdale viewers have seen Robert only has eyes for his ex-husband, Aaron Dingle who recently  married John Sugden someone Robert has recently become suspicious about and rightly so. During next week's visits to the soap, Emmerdale viewers will see Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden clear the air -  this is something many of us Robron fans will be happy about having scenes like this. With John persuading a skeptical Aaron to go easy on Robert, however with an uncomfortable encounter at the shop John decides to leave. Later, Robert attempts to clear the air with Aaron over coffee.  Why am I excited about all these Robron scenes returning?! Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale Things get interesting as when Robert hints at leaving the village, Aaron reassures his former lover he's valued giving Robert hope.  Are Robron fans pleased about this? Later in the week following a chat...

During tonight's visit (Monday 28th July) to  Emmerdale , viewers will begin with a scene with Bob Hope talking to Mary Goskirk about the incredible football match yesterday (Sunday 27th July) that was specially filmed celebrating the momentous victory over Spain in the UEFA Euro Final.  Thank you, Emmerdale for deciding to add this moment into the episode. Viewers will also get a glimpse of the aftermath of a lively celebration at the Woolpack with the disarray clearly indicating the villagers had gathered en masse to watch the Lionesses make history. Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale This scene was a last-minute addition filmed with the hopeful anticipation of an England win allowing Emmerdale to capture and reflect the national excitement surrounding the Lionesses' triumph. Talking of the episode, producer, Laura Shaw explains  “With the nation getting behind the Lionesses. We knew the fictional characters in Emmerdale would’ve been doing just the same so it felt right and ...

EP REVIEW - TAYLOR-RAE - HEAVEN RIGHT NOW

Image
Today (Friday 18th July), Canadian singer-songwriter, Taylor-Rae has released her latest EP, Heaven Right Now which is made up of 4 tracks. Heaven Right Now  begins with a guitar instrumental mixed with Taylor-Rae's emotional tones and songwriting filled with honesty that is clearly written from the heart. The emotional lyrics got me thinking about my Grandma who sadly passed away a few years back and with her anniversary over the weekend, I am so pleased that it got me thinking about my memories with her. The chorus for me is the most stunning part of the song, however, as Heave Right Now continues Taylor-Rae reminds you that it is OK to cry on those emotional days. The second verse demonstrates a lot of vulnerable and one that makes you appreciate your life. Heaven Right Now is my new favourite song. Bittersweet  takes Taylor -Rae's EP to another level as part of her wonderful journey. The chorus is super catchy and one that sees the happier side of who Taylor-Rae is as an a...

*OPINION* WHY JACQUELINE JOSSA DESERVES TO BE THIS YEAR'S SOAP SUPERSTAR AT THIS YEAR'S INSIDE SOAP AWARDS

With the brilliant,  Jacqueline Jossa  nominated for Best Serial Performance in the long list at this year's National Television Awards which I really hope she gets shortlisted for! However, sadly this year at The Inside Soap Awards, Jacqueline isn't nominated however, there is a Soap Superstar category and I believe that Jacqueline should be up for this because ever since she arrived in Albert Square as Lauren Branning in September 2010 - over that time Jacqueline has tackled some brilliant and hard-hitting storylines from the alcohol storyline which saw many viewers open their eyes and see what a brilliant young actress she was at the time. I can't move on without mentioning the Christmas Day 2017 episode where Lauren and her sister, Abi jumped off the Queen Vic roof in one episode where I cried. Jacqueline's return last year has seen her character, Lauren reunite with Peter Beale played by the original actor, Thomas Law which has been an interesting relationship to...

INTERVIEW WITH KARISSA ELLA ABOUT HER LATEST EP, GROWING WINGS

Image
This week's interview with singer-songwriter,  Karissa Ella  as she releases her latest EP, Growing Wings last Friday 11th July.  Growing Wings is made up of 7 tracks. Hey Karissa, it's wonderful to be chatting with you once again. How are you? Hello! I'm so happy to be chatting with you again! I am doing well! You recently  released your brand new EP,  how are you feeling about people finally being able to hear it? My EP is finally out in the world, and I couldn't be more excited. It's been such a journey putting this project together, so to finally share it feels amazing! Can you please tell us a little about each track featured? 1. Honky Tonk Heartbeat -  This one’s the party starter! It's high-energy, feel-good country that makes you want to dance. I wanted a fun, drinking song fans could let loose to! 2. Last Call Cowboy - It's a fun song all about embracing the excitement of the moment and understanding that not every love story is meant to last fore...

SINGLE REVIEW - TIGIRLILY GOLD - THINKIN' BOUT THAT

Image
Today (Friday 11th July),  Tigirlily Gold  made up of sisters, Kendra and Krista released their brand new single, Thinkin' Bout That. There is something so inspiring about  Thinkin' Bout That  that leads to listeners asking themselves questions about their relationships and their next steps as they develop and sometimes change as you look to the future which can scare some people. The way that song sees Kendra and Krista use their own experience about working together and facing the futures with their own partners and plan together! The chorus is so catchy and one that instantly made me smile thanks to their vocal tone, harmonies alongside some more questions that are hard-hitting, but deciding on your future together can be beautiful. As Thinkin' Bout That continues the specialness of the song is more beautiful as the mention of allowing one another to continue chasing your dreams shows another level to the song which I have to admit made me cry as this is something...

SINGLE REVIEW - KIANA - WHEN YOU'RE LOOKING AT ME

Image
Today (Friday 11th July), singer-songwriter, Kiana  is set to release her latest single, When You're Looking At Me. When You're Looking At Me  begins with a soulful instrumental with lots of honesty from the start alongside some vulnerability as you go into a new relationship and move on with your life. The chorus is a little soft, whilst remaining positive with super catchy lyrics that I love and I wish more artists would be (but you can see why some artists don't). The verse is about the next stage of beginning a new relationship as you want to continue the journey you are creating together as you want to show the person you are moving on with that you care without being over the top. The vulnerable moments throughout the song are beautifully thought about and deliver a lot of emotion. The bridge is my favourite part of When You're Looking At Me thanks to Kiana softer tones and lyrics being allowed there moment to shine. Thank you, Kiana for writing such a great song....

EP REVIEW - KARISSA ELLA - GROWING WINGS

Image
Today (Friday 11th July) will see singer-songwriter,  Karissa Ella  release her latest EP, Growing Wings which is made up of 7 tracks. Honky Tonk Heartbeat  is the perfect opening with a proper country feel mixed with some fantastic lyrics that have been beautifully written allowing for Karissa's crisp vocal tones to shine through. I love the catchiness of the song especially with Karissa's energy that is wonderfully showcased throughout making this song extra special. The electric guitar solo in the middle was genius. Last Call Cowboy  has a traditional country feel which I absolutely loved as its love story is filled with a lot of honesty. The chorus is stunning and once again filled with love, reminding me of the very reason that I fell in love with country music in the first place. One thing about Last Call Cowboy I love is the fact that it takes you through all the stages of the relationship - finding your one is special and something everyone deserves. The lyri...

INTERVIEW WITH RYAN MULVEY AS HE OPENS UP ABOUT HOW BRODY IS FEELING...

Image
Since Brody Michaelis arrived on the Cobbles earlier this year, Coronation Street viewers have seen what a complexed character actor Ryan Mulvey is playing. With Brody having recently learnt that PC Kit Green is his father, does he want a relationship with him, or does he wish this had never happened and Kit would go away, Ryan Mulvey who plays Brody commented  “Brody's scared. I think his first thought is that Kit is rejecting him and he doesn't want to be there.”  Before adding  “He's scared to have another dad in his life because what if he rejects him as well?” With Brody's bad behaviour, Coronation Street viewers have also seen a lot of vulnerability too, are you enjoying seeing that coming through?  “Yeah, definitely. It's nice because obviously he's coming at things with this hard exterior and messing everything up, but it's really lovely to play this softer side and see his true feelings come out. At the end of the day he's a teenager, he's s...

INTERVIEW WITH TYRA MADISON AS WE GET TO KNOW HER AND TALK ABOUT HER LATEST SINGLES

Image
This week's interview is with Rising Singer-Songwriter, Tyra Madison  who recently released two singles, Kentucky In Me, Party Girl as well as getting to know this new artist. Hi Tyra.  I am thrilled to be featuring but before we go any further , can I please ask you to introduce yourself to our readers? What's up, y'all! My name is Tyra Madison. I'm a born and raised Kentucky girl from a small town called Pine Top, but I've been living in Nashville for 10 years now. I have to throw this in what made you want to write country music and become a country music artist? I grew up on Bluegrass music. My papaw played the harmonica, and my uncle played the guitar. I would say my influence from Bluegrass made me gravitate to country music. What I love about both genres is the storytelling aspect of them both. That's why I love songwriting. I have been following since the start of the year, and it's been amazing to see how much you have grown over this short period I...

Image
During next week's visit to Emmerdale, viewers to the Yorkshire based soap will see Charity Dingle worry about her granddaughter, Sarah Sugden as she returns to the village following her operation as the village reminds her of what the operation cost her during last Thursday's episode (26th June). The week begins with Sarah Sugden offers to help her granddad Cain Dingle with Nate Robinson's memorial poster, Sarah puts on a brave face, although once his back is turned her brave front crumbles. With Sarah refusing to rest after her hysterectomy despite Charity's protest, Sarah heads to the garage and offers to help Kammy Hadiq, but Cain isn't happy seeing his granddaughter working but he too is looking for his own distractions. Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale Later when Sarah and Gabby Thomas arrive into the hospital, Jacob Gallagher rushes to Sarah's aid as she collapses from the pain. Is anyone else happy that Jacob is supporting Sarah just as she needs someone the...
