SINGLE REVIEW - JADE HELLIWELL - STAY

This Friday (29th November) will see British singer-songwriter, Jade Helliwell is set to release her brand new single and the last for 2019, Stay.

Stay starts with a beautifully slow piano instrumental which gives the song such a wonderfully warm feeling which I absoultely loved and started the song off in the best way.
The first verse of Stay is one that happens to set the song off perfectly allowing Jade's softer vocal range shine through. There is something about Jade's voice that is so vulnerable leading to me believing in every single word Jade is singing.
The chorus of Stay is once again a part of the song where I caught myself believing in every single word Jade is singing and the story-telling behind the lyrics are just stunning. I love the fact that the chorus is so catchy and manages to work well from every single verse.
The second verse of Stay in the part of the song where the tempo changes and for the better allowing Jade to showcase all of her vocal range especially the little bits of vulnerability. The lyrics this verse are so captivating to which I think a lot of people will be able to relate this song with that one special person to them.
The bridge shows off Jade's softer vocals as it does in the final verse of Stay ends the song beautifully before the final chorus especially when Jade's powerful vocals come in for the final time.

The lyrics throughout Stay are just stunning and shows us all what an amazing song-writer Jade is.
Stay is one wonderful song.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do.
