SINGLE REVIEW - BAILEY TOMKINSON - I WISH (IT DIDN'T END LIKE THIS)

Next Friday (6th December) will see British singer-songwriter, Bailey Tomkinson release her next single, I Wish (It Didn't End Like This).

I Wish (It Didn't End Like This) starts with a beautiful piano instrumental which sets the song up wonderfully which also happens to the sort the tone in Bailey's voice. The first verse of I Wish (It Didn't End Like This) features a softer vocal from Bailey which I absoultely adore. The lyrics of this verse are just beautiful and one a lot of people will be able to relate too as they will with a lot of this song making is so special.
The chorus is a little more upbeat (and something I love about Bailey's music) adding a different kind of vibe to the song which is just incredible and works beautifully. The lyrics within this verse are so honest and raw that I love it so much and demonstrates to everyone what an incredible artist she is! Bailey's vocal range is completely different also.
The second verse of I Wish (It Didn't End Like This) is one that has a funky instrumental before Bailey continues which allows you time to think and the moment Bailey starts singing you are glad for the time because it's magical allowing the listeners to get to know who Bailey is as an artist. The chorus featuring on from this verse was just wonderful works so well. The fact that the chorus ended the song made it absoultely perfect!
Bailey's songwriting on I Wish (It Didn't End Like This) is stunning and Bailey is one hell of a talented song-writer.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. The chorus features many catchy upbeat lyrics that I could myself singing along with despite not knowing the lyrics 100% typical Kellie. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
