*OPINION* WHY GRAHAM AND JOE COMING FACE-TO-FACE AFTER 6 YEARS WAS A BRILLIANTLY TIMED EPISODE

Image
Following the shock return of Graham Foster during the special Emmerdale  and Coronation Street crossover, Corriedale which aired earlier this month to this week's episodes have been great. Following on from last night's (Tuesday 27th January) cliff-hanger with Graham Foster returning to Home Farm where Joe Tate and Kim Tate were talking leading into  tonight's episode  (Wednesday 28th January) wonderfully as Joe and Graham came face-to-face after 6 years. Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale The way that Joe stood up to Graham telling him that he doesn't need anything showed just how different things have become making us realise how much the character has changed over that period. Later, during a conversation between Graham and Kim, Joe overheard the real reason for his return to the village, but Graham and Kim scheming against one another how I have missed these kind of fiery moments as well as the softer moments of dialogue. Claire King and Andrew Scarborough scenes are ...

Overwhelmed by the diagnosis and the potential side effects of the recommended treatment, Cain cuts the consultation short and leaves. The episodes have been produced with the support of the charity, Prostate Cancer UK who have worked closely with Emmerdale's scriptwriters, story, research and production teams from the conception of the storyline to give a realistic and authentic depiction of C...

Image
Today (Friday 23rd January), US singer-songwriter, Kylie Morgan  is releasing her latest single, Like My Own, and I recently had the opportunity to speak with Kylie about the single, her debut headline London show last month, and her 2026 plans. Hi Kylie, How are you? I'm doing really well, thank you so much for asking! Honestly, I'm feeling very grateful and a little emotional today with this song being out in the world. It's a good day. Today sees the release of Like My Own, can you please tell us a little about the song? Like My Own is a song that's really close to my heart. It's about a whole new era of my life I truly thought would never exist. I never imagined loving two humans so deeply that their joy, their pain, their wins - all of it - feels like it's yours too. I think we've all had someone like that in our lives, and I wanted to write something honest that reflected that kind of love from a perspective I've never heard a song from before. I h...

*OPINION* WHY ROBERT AND AARON'S PROPOSAL ON CORRIEDALE WAS BRILLIANTLY TIMED

Image
During Monday's (5th January) special crossover episode of Corriedale, viewers saw Emmerdale fan-favourite couple, Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden known as Robron to their dedicated fanbase become engaged for the third time! Robron fans have been through many emotions since Ryan Hawley finally decided to come back after 6 years away from the Yorkshire Dales based soap with his first scene airing on Wednesday 28th May, 2025 to stop Aaron Dingle and John Sugden's wedding with the Robron scenes becoming better and better from August 2025. Let's be honest, did any of us really think we'd get a proposal this early on in 2026? We all hoped, but I'm glad it was better than we any of us thought, don't you agree? Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale There was something super beautiful and very Robron style to it especially with it being on a roadside where Aaron lied injured following the crash saw quite a fitting moment happen between Robert and Aaron leading to Aaron proposing ...

*REVIEW* EMMERDALE'S DRAMA FILLED WEEK FOLLOWING CORRIEDALE!

Image
I wasn't sure I was going to write this let alone share this, but honestly this week's Emmerdale episodes have been interesting as it followed on from the Corriedale drama. Emmerdale  aired an episode prior to Corriedale that set up, the special episode brilliantly showing us how and why certain characters ended up where they did, whilst remaining to give little away which many beautifully captured shots delivered. But it was Aaron telling John “You're nobody, you're deluded you really think I'd choose you over Robert? He's everything to me. He's the love of my life and he's 10 times the man you'll ever be” that really made me smile. Corriedale (5th January) definitely delivered a drama-filled episode featuring a Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden proposal  was beautiful viewing and everything and more than many of us Robron fans wanted especially with the “Messed up with you... forever.”  line, as well as the return of Graham Foster, however, the shock...

EMMERDALE SETS UP AN EXPLOSIVE 2026!

Emmerdale are set to air a dramatic fallout from Corriedale  with explosive repercussions for Emmerdale launching an unmissable start to the year as the storylines continue to spiral into 2026. However after recent events, Emmerdale's villagers are set to face murder, deception and the reveal of devastating secrets that will change their lives forever. Producer Laura Shaw commented  “The Dingle family are set to face huge repercussions and Cain is at the centre of a major prostate cancer storyline spanning across 2026...”  Before continuing  “The truth about John's death will be revealed as Victoria's clever deception, making John's death look like suicide will unravel. Evil Joe Tate knows the truth and has damning video evidence which he plans to use to get what he wants from the Sugdens, potentially taking control of Butler's Farm. Robert is also in the thick of it, trying to save Victoria by planting evidence.” Laura then teased  “Following the discovery of ...

MY OPINION ON TONIGHT'S SPECIAL, CORRIEDALE EPISODE THAT MERGED EMMERDALE AND CORONATION STREET TOGETHER

Image
I think it's safe to say that tonight's special Corriedale episode was fast paced filled with a lot of twists and turns along the way for us viewers. The episode of Emmerdale set up Corriedale brilliantly displaying how and why certain characters ended up where they did, whilst also remaining to give little away which many beautifully captured shots delivered. But Aaron telling John “You're nobody, you're deluded you really think I'd chose you over Robert? He's everything to me. He's the love of my life and he's 10 times the man you'll ever be” really made me smile. Knowing that Corriedale was written by Owen Lloyd-Fox and directed by Duncan Foster - I knew this special cross-over episode was going to be great as Duncan is one of my favourite directors who delivers brilliant visuals - all the little nods on both shows pre-Corriedale were interesting to see. Photo Credit: Mark Bruce The First Part  opened this special show wonderfully in my opinion wi...

EMMERDALE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR REVIEW

Image
Over the past two weeks, Emmerdale have absolutely smashed the festive episodes of the Yorkshire based soap with the right amount of drama, and festivities. Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale Last week saw a tough but drama filled week for all involved not before Aaron continued to support Robert with his journey on with getting his son, Seb back in their lives following Robert officially moving in,  giving us an emotional Robert along with a protective and supportive Aaron, whilst also showing fans that things have changed as neither character are holding back secrets this time around. Christmas Day was a super festive episode from the Dingle family as the moment Robert disappeared but  Chas' reference of Weatherfield got me excited for the crossover. There was a kind of nostalgia that I loved as it reminded me why I love Emmerdale as a soap with the attention to the little details especially within Aaron's speech “This year's been a bit, even by our standards it's been a w...
