CORRIEDALE ACCESS ALL AREAS
With the highly-anticipated Corriedale set to hit our screens in a matter of hours - an event many fans have been counting down to.
Whilst the action packed hour long episode which is set to air at 8pm on ITV and ITVX tomorrow (Monday 5th January, 2026) is full of drama, secrets, lies, injuries and potential deaths have seen both actors from Emmerdale and Coronation Street enjoy working together.
Once Corriedale has aired, fans can then get an exclusive look behind the scenes access to the making of Corriedale with Corriedale Backstage Pass including exclusive interviews set to air on ITVX, ITV3 and YouTube.
The build up to Corriedale begins on Monday at 7am where half hour episodes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street will be available to watch on ITVX, and ITV1 with Emmerdale at 7pm and Coronation Street at 7.30pm. However, Corriedale will be NOT available to stream before 8pm on ITV.
The unique crossover episode was filmed across 3 weeks back in October including 12 night shoots on a disused road close to Harrogate, Yorkshire.

Cast and crew from both shows worked alongside each other for the first time ever to film the multi-vehicle pile-up, and when the cameras stopped rolling the tears and trauma turned to laughter as they shared hot cups of coffee, mountains of sweets and had a good old catch up.
With Julia Goulding (Corrie's Shona Platt) saying “There was such a fantastic atmosphere on set. It was really special to be able to work with the Emmerdale cast and crew. It certainly helped with the night shoots to be able to work with new people. We kept the energy levels high with coffee and lots of sugary sweets!” Before Danny Miller (Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle) added “The night shoots were a lot of fun and it's been great working with the Corrie team. I can't wait to see how the episode plays out with the separate storylines from both Emmerdale and Corrie. It’s going to be epic and every soap fan's dream.”
When the credits roll at 9pm, viewers can turn to ITV3, ITVX and YouTube for Corriedale Backstage Pass, a special 30-minute special that celebrates, unpacks and extends the landmark Corriedale TV event which is hosted by Luis Elkes and packed with cast interviews and behind-the-scenes access, this one-off special gives audiences the ultimate insider experience and captures the excitement of two soap worlds colliding.
Corriedale is just the start of the drama as the aftermath of the crash gives rise to fear, murderous intent, death, destruction, closely-guarded secrets, and lies.
Life in Emmerdale and Weatherfield will never be the same again! I'm excited to see what's to come as both shows return to there own shows following this episode.
The special episode is a celebration of the soap genre and launches ITV's new 'soap power hour' scheduling pattern for Emmerdale airing at 8pm followed by Coronation Street at 8.30pm.
