EP REVIEW - EMILY FAYE - HERE I AM

British singer-songwriter, Emily Faye is set to release her debut EP, Here I Am which will be released on Friday 27th April. Here I Am features 4 tracks, and Emily very kindly sent us the EP to review.

Open Road starts with a guitar solo that starts the song off beautifully with such a road trip vibe to it. Emily's tone is so beautiful straight from the start with very quirky parts in the first verse too. The chorus has such a happy sound with gorgeous and meaningful lyrics! Within the second verse you get a fun and happy vibe - meanwhile I love that the video is showing us that she is living her dream and loving it such a wonderful concept for the video, Emily. The third and final verse has a dance and happy type of vibe.

Giving In is a slower sounding song with the start being wonderfully slow and it suits the style of the song and with Emily's softer sounding vocals too it highlight's Emily's vocals beautifully. The lyrics in Giving In are just incredible and ones that Emily has thought every hard about. The chorus is very meaningful and a song that we can all relate too one way or another. Such a wonderful song.
I love that Emily isn't afraid to put her heart out there.

Game Over gives of quirky and happier vibes from the start and I love Emily's upbeat vocals. Game Over is definitely a song based on an experience that she's been through and I also love the fact that the chorus is SUPER honest! The lyrics are brutally honest and this is something I admire in Emily's music because she's not a afraid to dig into her past when it comes to writing her songs.

Me For Me is such a different song and you can't help by smile throughout. Me For Me is a song everyone can relate to one way or another and that is something that is magical. Me For Me chorus is just incredible and Emily's vocals shine throughout and it's magical. The first and second verse are very inspiring and one for me every girl needs to listen too. Me For Me is a song that gets you thinking songs and songs like this one are so inspiring!

Me For Me is my favourite of the album for it's incredible lyrics and the emotion I get from them.
