SINGLE REVIEW - VICKI MANSER - PSYCHO

Next Friday (5th March) will see British singer-songwriter and musical theatre star, Vicki Manser release her latest single, Psycho.
Psycho was written alongside Jake Morrell, seeing this single as Vicki's first co-write.
Psycho is Vicki's first release of 2021.

Psycho today (27th February) had it's first play on Matt Spracklen's Country Hits Radio show.

Psycho has a guitar instrumental to begin setting the tone for the single beautifully.
The opening verse sees Vicki's softer vocal range at the forefront of the song allowing this captivating sense of the meaningful lyrics delivered by Vicki wonderfully giving this real sense of a relationship going wrong, and all the hear say of people's rumours, but you continue to see the best of person you are seeing, however as the song continues the real sense of it's meaning is revealed.
The chorus of psycho sees Vicki's vocal range change into a higher tone giving this song another wonderful layer of the meaning of psycho of just wanting to get to the bottom of what is being said, and wanting to confront the situation. The chorus blends every single part of the song together beautifully thanks to the catchiness of the lyrics, and Vicki's sensational vocal!
The second verse continues psycho wonderfully with Vicki's soft range returning reflecting on the relationship, and all that was involved looking back realising that so much of what happened was wrong with the sense still not wanting to believe that all the people telling you about that people being wrong, despite, them actually being right along!
There is something so memorising about Vicki's vocal range!
The final chorus of psycho sees Vicki's upbeat happy vocal displayed in the most fantastic way that had to smiling thanks to the realisation shining through within the lyrics!

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
