MAREN MORRIS AND RYAN HURD TEAM UP FOR AMAZING DUET, CHASING AFTER YOU

Today (Friday 12th February) will see husband and wife team, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd release their amazing duet, Chasing After You.

Chasing After You has a electric guitar instrumental which sets the tone of song beautifully, giving it this special kind of feeling.
The first verse sees Ryan's vocal at the forefront with pure honesty, and vulnerability demonstrated right from the off which sees their relationship summed up with wonderfully. 
The chorus features both Maren, and Ryan's vocals allowing their harmonies to blend perfectly together bringing the song to another level, as the lyrics are super catchy blending all the verses together wonderfully.
The second verse continues with Maren's soft vocal range at the forefront allowing her vocal range the chance to shine with her storytelling which had me hooked throughout.
The instrumental break down in the middle of Chasing After You is timed in such a way that had me wanting more from Maren, and Ryan as the bridge of the song kicks in with both Maren, and Ryan's softer vocals allowing the lyrics another moment to shine. As the final chorus comes in the more it feels like Chasing After You has come full circle, with their harmonies being perfectly demonstrated once again.

Chasing After You gives with this traditionally love story feel, blended with the pure closeness of the married couple which makes me adore the song even more.

ARTISTS I AM EXCITED TO SEE ON THE POP UP STAGES DURING C2C 2025

With C2C 2025 only a month away, I thought I would share with you the artists I am very excited to see on the pop up stages following yesterday's announcement (4th February). Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the pop up stages as it allows you to discover so many incredible artists for the very first time as well as see some of your favourite artists. Back in December when I first saw  Abbie Mac  supporting Sophia Scott who played her debut London show, and honestly Abbie Mac is an artist to watch as she has a bright future ahead of her. I remember tearing up at some of her songs which I have had certain lyrics going through my head ever since, so I'm excited to complete them. Abby Anderson  is an artist who through the Covid era's music helped me through so much as she is an artist who writes from the heart and her songs definitely take you on a journey.
