HOLLYOAKS CASTING NEWS AS NEW HUTCHINSON FAMILY ARE ANNOUNCED

Liverpool-based soap, Hollyoaks last week announced that Leo Cole will be taking on the role of Ro Hutchinson, however, Hollyoaks can now confirm that Brook Debio and Chloe Atkinson will also be joining the Hollyoaks cast taking over the roles of Ant and Dee Dee Hutchinson.

Chloe, Leo and Brook will make their Hollyoaks debut on Monday 20th October during Hollyoaks 30th anniversary week as their characters attend the wedding of their parents, Tony and Diane. Aubrey Burgess continues her role as Tony and Diane's youngest daughter, Eva Hutchinson.

Talking about her new role in Hollyoaks, Chloe Atkinson said “I am so excited and grateful to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks as Dee Dee Hutchinson. My time here so far has been truly amazing, and I cannot wait to continue the journey. The rest of the cast has welcomed me with open arms. I couldn't finish this message without mentioning Lacey Findlow and how lucky I feel to show you a different side to the character she brought to life and played so incredibly well.”

Brook Debio added about joining the show“It’s been so exciting joining the cast of Hollyoaks as Ant Hutchinson - it’s a real privilege to be part of a well-established and welcoming family. Filming has been a blast- especially with some of the intense scenes we’ve been shooting. I’m really grateful to have been trusted with such an important storyline...”

Earlier this year, Brook appeared in special episode of Coronation Street playing the young Kit Green in a flashback episode.

Hollyoaks airs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with episodes available at 7am on Channel 4 streaming and can be watched on E4 at 7pm with same day episodes.

ARTISTS I AM EXCITED TO SEE ON THE POP UP STAGES DURING C2C 2025

With C2C 2025 only a month away, I thought I would share with you the artists I am very excited to see on the pop up stages following yesterday's announcement (4th February). Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the pop up stages as it allows you to discover so many incredible artists for the very first time as well as see some of your favourite artists. Back in December when I first saw  Abbie Mac  supporting Sophia Scott who played her debut London show, and honestly Abbie Mac is an artist to watch as she has a bright future ahead of her. I remember tearing up at some of her songs which I have had certain lyrics going through my head ever since, so I'm excited to complete them. Abby Anderson  is an artist who through the Covid era's music helped me through so much as she is an artist who writes from the heart and her songs definitely take you on a journey.
