*OPINION* WHY ROBERT AND AARON MOMENTS TONIGHT WERE NEEDED

From the moment Ryan Hawley arrived back on our screens as Robert Sugden back at the end of May - the chemistry has been there between the former lovers, Robron aka Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle.

Tonight's episode (Monday 18th August) saw Aaron Dingle comfort his ex-husband, Robert when he hit the self-destruct button leading to a moment of passion between the ex-husbands.

Once alone in his room, Robert started to throw things seeing him in a rage of anger that was until Aaron walked past hearing the noise of what was going on and entered Keepers Cottage where he took hold and held Robert to stop him from injuring himself - what a wonderful Robron interaction of the episode. All Robert needed was that protective hug from Aaron and I have no doubt that, that moment made so many Robron fans happy!

The second half of the episode saw Aaron listen closely to Robert as he knows what it's like to go through things alone and their bond is unmatched as all they really want deep down is to be with one another that much is obvious. Robert is filled with a lot of hate and the moment he bought up how prison changed him, you could kind of see this tough guy act disappear as he felt so comfortable talking with Aaron.

As a Robroner since 2014 hearing Robert say that it's always been Aaron was music to my ears especially when you could see in Aaron's facial expression that he wanted it too! However, with Aaron mentioning that he had to push Robert away was a very much needed moment for the pair of characters - and one filled with some honesty giving us Robron fans continued hope as they took a trip down memory lane. The parallels were definitely on point and carefully thought about.

The 'I've missed you' from Aaron before the Robron kiss was everything and the conversation aftermath was brilliant and the attention to detail throughout their conversations were great and a very much needed moment for us fans. 

The dialogue, the emotion, the acting from Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley is perfect and I honestly believe The Best Partnership Awards are coming back to them!

Robron affair era 2.0 is coming that's for sure and I am here for it!

Emmerdale continues tomorrow (Tuesday 19th August) on ITV1 at 7.30pm and ITVX from 7am.

From the very moment Kev Townsend was revealed as Robert Sugden's husband there has been trouble, however tonight's episode (Thursday 27th November) was brilliant viewing as Kev set out for revenge, but sneaking into Aaron Dingle's flat was when the drama began having discovered Robert was there much to his shock. ARTISTS I AM EXCITED TO SEE ON THE POP UP STAGES DURING C2C 2025

With C2C 2025 only a month away, I thought I would share with you the artists I am very excited to see on the pop up stages following yesterday's announcement (4th February). Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the pop up stages as it allows you to discover so many incredible artists for the very first time as well as see some of your favourite artists. Back in December when I first saw  Abbie Mac  supporting Sophia Scott who played her debut London show, and honestly Abbie Mac is an artist to watch as she has a bright future ahead of her. I remember tearing up at some of her songs which I have had certain lyrics going through my head ever since, so I'm excited to complete them. Abby Anderson  is an artist who through the Covid era's music helped me through so much as she is an artist who writes from the heart and her songs definitely take you on a journey.
