NEXT WEEK ON CORONATION STREET: CARLA CONNOR PLANS TO PROPOSE TO LISA SWAIN

During next week's visit to Weatherfield, Lisa Swain and Carla Connor fans aka Swarla fans will see one of their favourite characters plan to spend their life with the other.

The week will begin with Carla Connor and Lisa Swain attend a life drawing class, but the evening is soon bought to a halt with more Betsy Swain drama and let's be honest would us viewers expect anything else? Back at the factory, Betsy is reluctant to show Carla the vest tops that she has been working on, and how she has accidentally printed the wrong logo on them.... How is Carla going to react?

However, Carla then confides in her nephew, Ryan Connor that she is going to propose to Lisa who is thrilled and confides in him that she is awaiting a engagement ring. Anyone else excited for these scenes?!

Elsewhere, Lisa begins to wonder what Carla and Ryan are whispering about. Lisa then shows Carla, a jewellery website and reveals her plans to get a ring made for Betsy's 18th incorporating Becky's fingerprints. What a thoughtful idea.

As Carla excitedly takes a delivery of the engagement ring at Number 6, Carla then calls into the Rovers to hand Glenda Shuttleworth the ring asking her to slip it into Lisa's champagne glass when she arrives - why do I think this could end in disaster, however, I do hope not but it is a soap.

As Carla calls Lisa at work and insists they meet in the Rovers. Will Carla pull of the surprise or will Lisa guess what's going on?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday's at 8pm on ITV1 with episodes also available on ITVX from 7am on episode days.

COMING UP NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: LIMO TAKES A DIVE ALONGSIDE ACTOR QUOTES

During next week's visits to Emmerdale, viewers will see a storyline centered on a fateful night with not one, but two limousines in danger as one is left teetering on a treacherous frozen lake. In a flash-forward sequence shared at the start of 2025, viewers were haunted by the sight of a desperate hand breaking through the lake's icy surface with it's fingers grasping for life. ARTISTS I AM EXCITED TO SEE ON THE POP UP STAGES DURING C2C 2025

With C2C 2025 only a month away, I thought I would share with you the artists I am very excited to see on the pop up stages following yesterday's announcement (4th February). Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the pop up stages as it allows you to discover so many incredible artists for the very first time as well as see some of your favourite artists. Back in December when I first saw  Abbie Mac  supporting Sophia Scott who played her debut London show, and honestly Abbie Mac is an artist to watch as she has a bright future ahead of her. I remember tearing up at some of her songs which I have had certain lyrics going through my head ever since, so I'm excited to complete them. Abby Anderson  is an artist who through the Covid era's music helped me through so much as she is an artist who writes from the heart and her songs definitely take you on a journey.
