NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: SARAH RECEIVES SOME UPSETTING NEWS

It's been no secret that over recent weeks that Sarah Sugden wants to have a child having recently opened up to Vanessa Woodfield about this and her reasons why, however, during next week's visits to the Yorkshire based soap the character is set for a devastating diagnosis.

The week begins with Sarah Sugden heading alone to get her biopsy results, however at the hospital Sarah's fears are confirmed when the consultant reveals that she has the early stages of cervical cancer. 

As Sarah struggles to take in all the information, she is relieved to find out that she may still be able to get pregnant.

Later whilst seeing Sarah on his shift, Jacob Gallagher worried for Sarah as she tries to put on a brave face. However, when Jacob offers Sarah support, she can't help but crumble and confess that she has just been diagnosed with cancer where he tries to comfort her. I am pleased to see that Sarah is opening up to someone.

As Sarah asks about how they found the cancer, she's disappointment by Jacob's reaction when she tells him that she wants a baby and is shocked by his bluntness when he explains about the impact of losing a mum can be on an child. I get that Jacob is trying to be honest, but sometimes sympathy is needed.

Jacob is soon astounded to realise that he is the only one who knows about both the cancer and IVF. Will Jacob step up and be there for Sarah when she needs support? Will Sarah open up to her family?

Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 7.30pm on ITV1 and uploaded to ITVX from 7am.

During next week's visits to Emmerdale, viewers will see a storyline centered on a fateful night with not one, but two limousines in danger as one is left teetering on a treacherous frozen lake. ARTISTS I AM EXCITED TO SEE ON THE POP UP STAGES DURING C2C 2025

With C2C 2025 only a month away, I thought I would share with you the artists I am very excited to see on the pop up stages following yesterday's announcement (4th February). Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the pop up stages as it allows you to discover so many incredible artists for the very first time as well as see some of your favourite artists. Back in December when I first saw  Abbie Mac  supporting Sophia Scott who played her debut London show, and honestly Abbie Mac is an artist to watch as she has a bright future ahead of her. I remember tearing up at some of her songs which I have had certain lyrics going through my head ever since, so I'm excited to complete them. Abby Anderson  is an artist who through the Covid era's music helped me through so much as she is an artist who writes from the heart and her songs definitely take you on a journey.
