NEXT WEEK ON CORONATION STREET: LAUREN BOLTON IS BLACKMAILED BUT BY WHO?
During last week's episodes to the Weatherfield based soap, Coronation Street viewers saw Lauren Bolton crash Tracy Barlow's Preston's Petal van on a joyride with Betsy Swain who's idea it was in the first place following her being angry towards Tracy for her accident.
During last night's episode (Monday 28th April), viewers saw Lauren Bolton open up to Bobby Crawford about the blackmailing which continues into next week as Lauren informs Bobby that she hasn't received any more threatening text messages, but she worries that the blackmailer is simply biding their time - and who can blame her for thinking this? There is definitely a lot more to what's going on with the texts, but let's be honest it's never what it seems in Weatherfield.
Later in the week, Bobby will offer to help Lauren look at flats but she assures him that she is fine to go on her own. Floored by the prices of rent, Lauren reveals that she needs to get a job fast. Aadi Alahan offers to put in a good word at Freshco.

With Lauren receiving a text from her blackmailer demanding £200 or they will report her to the police, Lauren begins to worry.
After showing Betsy Swain the text, Lauren suspects that Bobby is her blackmailer, and that it is his way of trying to get closer to her. Lauren resolves to call his bluff.
With Lauren and Betsy having planted some fake cash, the girls wait, but will Bobby reveal himself?
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday's at 8pm on ITV with episodes available from 7am on ITVX.
