CHRISTMAS ALBUM REVIEW - JESS AND THE BANDITS - ALWAYS CHRISTMAS EVE

Welcome back to my review on Jess and The Bandits new Christmas album, Always Christmas Eve out on December 1st in the UK.
The Christmas EP will feature 4 singles each with a special guest from the UK Country Music Scene and here I will be giving my review on them.

Baby, It's Cold Outside - duet with Kevin McGuire
I won't lie but this was one song I was worried about being covered because it is such a great song but both Jess and Kevin have had a great job.
I love the instrumentals within the whole song and gives it a super Christmassy feel. Jess' vocals starts Baby, It's Cold Outside few seconds after Kevin vocals join and their voices work wonderful together. Jess' stunning tone throughout Baby, It's Cold Outside highlights what a stunning female singer Jess is with her voice. Also, I have to say that Kevin's voice throughout highlights what a great male singer he is and with his gorgeous higher tone it is so raw, I love it. Baby' It's Cold Outside comes you wanna get up and sing along.

Wrapped In Red – featuring Luke Thomas
Love the Christmassy sounding start actually throughout the whole song, and once Jess comes in with her wonderful vocals once, Luke joined in it makes it magically and takes the song to another level.
Wrapped in Red is such a beautiful duet with very heartfelt lyrics - you can definitely tell Jess and Luke are very passionate about the words they are singing. Finally, the message within this song is incredibly beautiful. One song I will for sure be sharing with my family and friends!

Always Christmas Eve - duet with Gary Quinn
I love the happy, quirky upbeat tune that starts the song off and starts with the whole song throughout. Jess' vocals start Always Christmas Eve off and with the instant childhood memory lyrics it makes me feel very Christmassy! Love that from the first chorus Gary's involved with his wonderful voice, Gary's huskier sounding vocals work magically. There is something very special and rare about Jess' voice! The lyrics within Always Christmas Eve are very heartfelt and the Christmassy message that it sounds out is beautiful.
This is one incredibly perfect and magically duet from both Jess and Gary.

O Holy Night - duet with Laura Oakes
O Holy Night is a much softer sounding song with Laura starting the song off beautiful with her wonderful tone and you can hear she means every words she is singing! Then with Jess joining in, near/ in the chorus is such an amazing blend of female vocals, power houses for sure. Jess' vocals on the second and the chorus verses’ is very soulful.
Laura and Jess have made such a wonderful Christmas song sound current and their voices gel incredibly and if this isn't in the Top 10 over the Christmas period I will be every disappointed.

What an incredible album Jess and The Bandits, I will definitely be having this album on repeat over Christmas!
