NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: ROBERT TRIES TO PROTECT AARON

Image
Following their decision to leave the village, Aaron Dingle and John Sugden return to village for lunch with Chas Dingle who is saddened to hear that her son is definitely moving away. When Victoria Barton reveals that Aaron and John are moving into John’s childhood home, Robert storms out and who can blame him knowing how much Robert loves Aaron and all he wants is for Aaron to be close by and safe. Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale Robert later interrupts Aaron packing up his belongings and tries to convince him that he's making a mistake as Aaron wavers when Robert moves closer claiming that their connection is very much alive something I think many of us Robron fans agree is still there. As tension builds, Robert kisses Aaron, but Aaron struggles with his feelings, but what does this mean for Robert and Aaron going forward? Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 7.30pm on ITV1 with episodes available from 7am on the day episodes air  on ITVX as well as YouTube .

ALBUM REVIEW - LAINEY WILSON - WHIRLWIND DELUXE

Image
Today (Friday 22nd August) US singer-songwriter,  Lainey Wilson  releases the deluxe version of Whirlwind which was released exactly a year ago. The deluxe version is made up of 19 tracks with 5 being brand-new. Lainey is known for taking her fans on a journey with her music and Whirlwind is no different with  Keep Up With Jones  bringing Lainey's fun country loving side to the song with catchy lyrics whilst letting listeners know that it is ok if you don't put up with your friends.  Country's Cool Again  follows on wonderfully with it being one of my favourite songs of the album that is also released - what makes you country to everyone is every different and I like that Lainey embraces this. The chorus is super catchy and the sass is spot on along with the vocal delivery being great with the softer tones mixed in beautifully.  Good Horses featuring Miranda Lambert  is a duet, I never knew I needed to hear with the beautiful story-telling mixed w...

*OPINION* WHY ROBERT AND AARON MOMENTS TONIGHT WERE NEEDED

Image
From the moment Ryan Hawley arrived back on our screens as Robert Sugden back at the end of May - the chemistry has been there between the former lovers, Robron aka Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle. Tonight's episode (Monday 18th August) saw Aaron Dingle comfort his ex-husband, Robert when he hit the self-destruct button leading to a moment of passion between the ex-husbands. Once alone in his room, Robert started to throw things seeing him in a rage of anger that was until Aaron walked past hearing the noise of what was going on and entered Keepers Cottage where he took hold and held Robert to stop him from injuring himself - what a wonderful Robron interaction of the episode. All Robert needed was that protective hug from Aaron and I have no doubt that, that moment made so many Robron fans happy! Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale The second half of the episode saw Aaron listen closely to Robert as he knows what it's like to go through things alone and their bond is unmatched as all ...

SINGLE REVIEW - PRISCILLA BLOCK - COULDN'T CARE LESS

Image
Today (Friday 15th August) Priscilla Block  has released her more vulnerable song Couldn't Care Less of a new era of music from this talented artist. Couldn't Care Less begins with a soft instrumental filled with many honest and raw moments that are extremely joined by some relatable lyrics that you can hear come from Priscilla's personal experience that comes from social media as well as being down to the society we live in. There were parts of the song that I caught myself getting emotional over as I caught myself relating to parts. Photo Credit: Britton Webb The lines about performing and being even more vulnerable at times broke me as I have to admit having artists are friends it's sometimes easy to forgot the struggles that they can face - but I also think if you haven't anything nice to say, say nothing! However, it was the real life moments that you miss that can be the hardest especially when you are on the road, but Priscilla's vocal tone throughout is ...

AFTER THAT SHOCK EMMERDALE TWIST - EMMA ATKINS AND MIKE PARR SPEAK OUT

Image
During tonight's hour-long episode (Thursday 14th August), viewers to the Yorkshire based soap watched as Charity Dingle had flashbacks to a drunken night when she kissed Vanessa Woodfield. Following this, Vanessa turned Charity out onto the street clearly rejecting her. Charity then found Ross Barton who offered her comfort.   This a twist that many wouldn't haven't seen coming, but one for soapland. With Ross now aware of Charity's surrogacy pregnancy announcement pressed her to know if the baby could potentially be his. Charity attempted to reassure him by stating that she is carrying an embryo. However, as the celebrations in the pub continued, Ross's persistent question regarding the baby's paternity remained unanswered. Talking about if filming these scenes were fun, Mike Parr said:  “They were great and the relationship is so spiky and antagonistic between Ross and Charity - it’s fun to do.”  Then when Mike was asked about there being a lot of twists and ...

SINGLE REVIEW - GABBY BARRETT - THE EASY PART

Image
Today (Friday 1st August) US singer-songwriter,  Gabby Barrett  releases her brand new single, The Easy Part. The Easy Part was written by Gabby alongside co-writers Zach Abend, Jon Nite, and Michael Hardy best known as HARDY and produced by Zach Kale, Zach Abend, and Ross Copperman. Photo Credit: Robby Klein The Easy Part  is one hell of a powerful song that captures a lot of emotion accompanied by a piano instrumental as the song lets us listeners in as it begins to take us on a journey that also showcases Gabby's stunning vocal tones. However, its the chorus that features some of The Easy Part's most powerful lyrics as you can feel the weight of us many different emotions on Gabby's shoulders as she sings that finally seem to get a little lighter as the song continues. 'Come on slam that front door, Go on tell me where I can go' is one of the most hard-hitting lines in Gabby Barrett's music. Sometimes the harder it is to walk away from someone or something th...
