INTERVIEW WITH JEORGIA ROSE AS SHE RELEASES HER DELUXE VERSION OF BLOOMING (WHERE SHE'S PLANTED)

Image
Today (Friday 20th June) sees British singer-songwriter,  Jeorgia Rose  release her deluxe version of her 2024 album, Blooming called Blooming (Where She's Planted). The deluxe version of Blooming (Where She's planted) features an extra 3 tracks. Hello Jeorgia, it's wonderful to speak with you again this year. How are you feeling about Blooming (Where She's Planted) being released? Thank you so much! Honestly, I am feeling a mix of excitement and gratitude. “Blooming (Where She's Planted)” feels like the most authentic thing I have ever put out and I'm truly so proud of this project. Weirdly, I've grown a lot in the months since the original album dropped, and I think the deluxe edition in a way captures that. These 3 songs feel like the perfect final petals. You released the original Blooming album in September last year, would make you want to create a deluxe version? I kind of always knew “Blooming” was going to have a deluxe edition. I knew that I didn...

SINGLE REVIEW - LILY ROSE - END LIKE THIS

Image
Today (Friday 20th June), Rising Country artist,  Lily Rose  releases her brand new single, End Like This. Photo Credit: Rachel Deeb End Like This  showcases Lily Rose's beautiful songwriting showing everyone listening what a fantastic artist she is. The first verse is filled with many heartfelt moments that I connected with instantly - the honesty and openness of the lyrics was fantastic to hear as some artists shy away from those tough moments but these kind of songs for me are special. The chorus is filled with vulnerability and all those moments that you shared meaning that sometimes you are sad that things ended the way they did and that's ok as that shows grace. The second verse continue End Like This wonderfully allowing for the heartfelt moments to continue especially as the bridge is in a much softer tone that broke me. You sometimes have to remember that when things end and its filled with hurt sometimes its needed for growth as sometimes you can simply jus...

INTERVIEW WITH SYDNEY MARTIN AS SHE TALKS SWARLA AND PLAYING BETSY

Image
Since Sydney Martin joined Coronation Street last year, her character Betsy Swain has become a favourite with viewers to the Weatherfield based soap. During next week's visit to Weatherfield, the young character is set for big week as she discovers some things that her mum, DS Lisa Swain has been hiding from her, and Betsy goes to look for answers as Sydney Martin opens up about what's to come and what it's like playing Betsy. When asked about how Betsy feels as her mum, Lisa Swain and Carla Connor grow closer, is Betsy accepting Carla's in for the long haul, Sydney Martin added  “I think there's some resistance, they still have this bickering, but she has a lot of love for Carla now and they’re starting to have that step mum/step daughter relationship. She can see that her mum is happy and that makes her happy. It's taken her a long time but she's finally starting to feel like this is her new home. So although there is a bit of bickering there's a nice ...

WHY ISABELLE SMITH WINNING BEST NEWCOMER WAS GREAT

Image
Last Saturday (31st May) saw Isabelle Smith win Best Newcomer at this year's British Soap Awards and she out of the nominations was the one I wanted to win the most despite the final 4 being wonderful newcomers in their soaps. Isabelle was bought into Hollyoaks in January 2024 and her character Frankie Osborne arrived with her twin, JJ as the children of Darren Osborne and Suzanne Ashworth - what a brilliant casting that was with both Isabelle and Ryan Mulvey. Photo Credit: Ean Flanders/ Lime Pictures/ Hollyoaks Since her arrival, Frankie has been through a lot especially within the SSA storyline which also won Best Storyline and rightly so and you only have to look at how much awareness this storyline has raised to the shows audience, and making people sit up and think - that's just from the reaction I've seen on social media. Isabelle Smith has handled all her scenes with such grace and even the hardest ones you can see how much research she did to portray it realisticall...
