During last week's episodes to the Weatherfield based soap, Coronation Street viewers saw Lauren Bolton crash Tracy Barlow's Preston's Petal van on a joyride with Betsy Swain who's idea it was in the first place following her being angry towards Tracy for her accident. During last night's episode (Monday 28th April), viewers saw Lauren Bolton open up to Bobby Crawford about the blackmailing which continues into next week as Lauren informs Bobby that she hasn't received any more threatening text messages, but she worries that the blackmailer is simply biding their time - and who can blame her for thinking this?  There is definitely a lot more to what's going on with the texts, but let's be honest it's never what it seems in Weatherfield. Yesterday (Friday 18th April),  Ashley Cooke  released her latest single, The F Word (which spoiler actually means forever) which I can't get out of my head so I thought why not review it. From the very moment tonight's episode (17th April) began, I knew it was going to be an emotional one especially with Dot Cotton's speech opening the episode as it panned across the square which was a wonderful move making me realise how much I miss June Brown - Dot was a fantastic character that I am glad I grew up with on-screen. This episode took us down memory lane especially with the Jamie Mitchell mention thanks to Kathy Cotton picking up his photo, the surprise visit to Rocky Cotton played by Brian Conley was brilliant as it was unexpected where he shared some wise words, not long before Sonia's trumpet made a comeback playing a poignant part at the end of the episode as well as her relationship with her sister, Bianca Jackson being highlighted as the pair who have been through some ups and downs recently but Bianca has always been there for Sonia despite everything. During next week's visit to Coronation Street, viewers to the Weatherfield based soap will see Lauren Bolton comes face to face with a familiar face from her past. The week begins with the doctors telling Lauren Bolton at the hospital that her son, Frankie is doing well and it won't be long until he can be discharged. It's not long until a nurse approaches with a parcel for Frankie where Lauren clocks a prison stamp which leaves her shaken. However, Lauren decides to visit her dad Reece Bolton in prison, but how will the visit go between the father and daughter?  I am really interested to see how these scenes will play out. This week's episodes of EastEnders saw Peter Beale propose to his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Branning who declined, however for me I personally think this is a great choice but the week continued to take the pair on an emotional rollercoaster. The fact that the week's episodes started with Peter Beale missing the baby scan, you could see Lauren Branning was in for an emotional week and honestly if any character needs support its Lauren! With Peter continuing to focus on his mum, Cindy Beale instead of Lauren really frustrated me. As much as I like Peter and Lauren as a couple in the show, I have to say Lauren choosing to turn down his proposal in Tuesday's episode (1st April) after everything that happened previously with Cindy Beale over Christmas with Lauren thinking that she was the one that injured her, and Peter doubting his girlfriend, where is the trust?
