SINGLE REVIEW - DANNY McMAHON - BACK ROADS

Today (Friday 10th May) British singer-songwriter, Danny McMahon releases his brand new single, Back Roads.
Back Roads is a duet featuring the brilliant, Kelsey Bovey as well as being written by Kelsey along with fellow British Country writer, Lauren Campbell.

Back Roads has a guitar instrumental which compliments this country love story. Back Roads is an heartfelt, emotional song that sees Danny's crisp soft vocal compliment Kelsey's vocal brilliantly as she provides backing vocals adding another layer.
The chorus is beautiful as it has a really wonderful feel that with Danny and Kelsey's harmonies allow for some stunning vocal delivery.
Kelsey opens the second verse with a different perspective/ point of view, which led me to take a different meaning as the chorus came back around.
The bridge featured Danny's typical crisp vocal which is something I really enjoyed especially as Back Roads come to its end I learnt what a beautifully stunning song it is!

ARTISTS I AM EXCITED TO SEE ON THE POP UP STAGES DURING C2C 2025

With C2C 2025 only a month away, I thought I would share with you the artists I am very excited to see on the pop up stages following yesterday's announcement (4th February). Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the pop up stages as it allows you to discover so many incredible artists for the very first time as well as see some of your favourite artists. Back in December when I first saw  Abbie Mac  supporting Sophia Scott who played her debut London show, and honestly Abbie Mac is an artist to watch as she has a bright future ahead of her. I remember tearing up at some of her songs which I have had certain lyrics going through my head ever since, so I'm excited to complete them. Abby Anderson  is an artist who through the Covid era's music helped me through so much as she is an artist who writes from the heart and her songs definitely take you on a journey.
